I have only been the the Pavilion once, but we enjoyed it. We were there for the Dave Matthews concert in May. The seating is either covered, reserve seats or lawn. If you are on the lawn most seats are created equal. You can't see the preformers themselves very well, but you can see them on the giant screens. If you fork out the money for a reserved seat, go for a good view. The sound is great as long as it isn't real windy. The only real downfall of the place is the parking. It seemed like we had to walk a mile from our parking spot to get to the gate. Also, don't bring anything with you such as alcohol, pocket knives or anything like that because they do search you before you enter the pavilion.
