Adult Cardiovascular Surgery - With complete team of vascular and cardiology surgeons, ours is also the only cardiothoracic surgery team in the region blending quality clinical care with basic and clinical investigations that are changing cardiothoracic surgery worldwide.
Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery - The staff at UC Davis Children's Hospital's Pediatric Heart Center are an interdisciplinary team of experts, including pediatric cardiologists, pediatric nurses and specialists with training in the latest diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
General Thoracic Surgery - The general thoracic surgery team provides expansive services for the surgical treatment of non-cardiac benign and malignant diseases of the chest, including the lungs, esophagus, chest wall, airway, mediastinum (the central compartment of the chest) and diaphragm Many of our therapies are performed using minimally invasive techniques such as video-assisted thoracic surgery or VATS and laparoscopic surgery.
