A great idea, poorly executed by United Artists and Regal. This place has potential, but it's run so poorly I'll never come back. It's a cute theatre, but there's NO HEAT, and it's ice cold in the auditorium. Also, the roof leaks. Looks as though they repaired it, but then didn't paint over the repairs and it looks VERY tacky. Never enough staffing; the manager seems to always be upstairs watching TV making the one teenage employee run the place. Sound is not so great! Definitely avoid this place. Pros: Location, Not Crowded, Pretty Marquee lights Cons: NO HEAT!!!, Tacky paint jobs, Poor Staffing levels more

Do you mean you don't have to wait in line for 25 minutes praying you get a ticket? do you mean staff speaks English and cleans the restroom every once in a while? Vogue makes the Metreon and their ilk look, well, modern by comparison. peace, brainmeatjuice Pros: box office in front, popcorn is fresh, bathroom clean more

Editorial
  • In Short
The narrow auditorium seats 313 patrons and has good sound and projection on the medium-size screen. Tucked amid other small businesses on the edge of Laurel Village, it's a cozy neighborhood theater with a strange booking policy. United Artists seems to run whatever it can here: third-runs that have kicked around the city for months, commercial flicks that no other theater will take, and first- to second-rate art films, which do well in this upscale neighborhood.
