Food is too expensive for the quality, about the only good thing to write about: server was corteous. The food was horrible taste and presentation. Not worth the $. Average price $17, Will not visit if I get a free pass. more

Best Italian place for late night dinning. This restaurant has one of the best gnocchi dishes of all time! Highly recommended!!!!! more

This place is really bad. I grew up with Italian parents and I know what a good Italian dish tastes like. This place is way overpriced for the quility of the food. I will not recomment to anybody. more

Tutto Pasta is owned and operated by the same genius that brought you Tutto Pizza (just right next door). That being said, I have to admit, it took me forever to come to this place. Now, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with Tutto Pasta, its just that sometimes I would come here with the intention of eating some pasta then I would see and smell Tutto Pizza and immediately change my mind.\r \r So the night that I actually came here, well, it was quite easy for me not to change my mind. Why? The answer shouldn't surprise you, it's because I had eaten at Tutto Pizza the very night before. So in an effort to 'carbo load' on this night before the marathon, I came here with a group of friends.\r \r Please note: If you sit outside you can order a pizza from next door, and that we did. I however, had their Spaghetti alla Chitarra, a spaghetti pasta with bolognese sauce, basil and diced tomatoes. Wow, I absolutely love it when a restaurant can truly make a pasta dish 'al dente'.\r \r Tutto Pasta is a family friendly restaurant that serves fresh homemade pasta and other Italian inspired dishes. Chef and owner Joao Carlos Olivera creates dishes that are simple yet delicious and adds his own Brazilian touch to create dishes that will want you coming back for more. more

Tutto has consistently served me one great dinner after the next. They always have good specials. The pasta is made fresh locally, the pizza is great. This is where I go to get great Italian food near my home. more

It's difficult finding good Italian in Miami although it shoudn't be. This is the place I go for Veal Parmigian. Top quality veal thinly pounded, breaded and fried to a golden brown topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. The marinara has plenty of fresh basil and garlic the way it should. The spaghetti is homemade. I order the sauce on the side. I finish it with a Tiramisu. This is also homemade and excellent. You might want to also try the beef carpaccio as an appetizer if the budget allows. more

Homestyle cooking in Downtown Miami 9/5/2008

I live on Brickell and come to this restaurant at least twice a month for their pumpkin raviolis and pava dessert. This is not your typical fancy/chic/overpriced SoBe style restaurant, and is more for ""locals"" that have great taste in pasta. The dishes are absolutely great and very reasonably priced. Eat outside on the cooler days. Wine list is great, dessert options are delicious, and the service is exceptional (for miami anyways!) Definitely stop by for lunch or dinner if you're in the downtown/brickell area. park on the street or in the strip mall parking off to the side for free. definitely not the same old same old. highly recommended for those that want to eat great food in a neighborhood style location. also recommended is tutto pizza next door, they let you order from either menu, so very family friendly, too. Pros: great food, reasonable prices, close to downtown, ample parking Cons: this is not for those looking for your typical chic miami restaurant more

Great little spot, not far from the port of Miami 6/10/2007

I stayed at a hotel fairly close to the port of Miami, prior to a recent Bahamas cruise. After a long overnight flight from San Francisco, I was delighted when the staff recommended this outstanding Italian restaurant only about a block from the Extended Stay. I went back the same evening for dinner!\r \r Since Miami is a lot hotter than the San Francisco Bay area, I opted to eat inside though they offer outside dining. The menu was quite extensive. For lunch, I chose an excellent beef carpaccio and an arugula salad with thinly sliced figs, and goat cheese - heavenly. The wine list was excellent - I had one of the best Mendoza malbecs I've ever tasted. Dessert was passion fruit mousse - an unbelievable concoction so tantalizing, I had two. I would love to get that recipe - it's almost worth a trip to Miami for another!\r \r Dinner that evening started with the focacia di capra with its wonderful thin crust, goat cheese and truffle oil. Brazilian owner, Joao - known as Jucca - Carlos Olivera has the pizza place next door and this is one of their specialties. There are so many wonderful dishes - and specials every day - it is difficult to make decisions. I remedy this by arriving a day before a cruise and staying a day after so that I can eat, at least\r twice, at Tutto Pasta. I know there are other great restaurants in Miami but, at this rate, I'll never get anywhere else until I've tried everything at Tutto Pasta. Pros: Excellent food, huge menu selection, delightful wait staff and a terrific owner Cons: A bit cramped, outside dining but not that pleasant because of freeway overpasses more

Excellent service and wonderful food 5/13/2007

The wide range of pastas and excellent specials makes dining here a treat. The service is prompt but discreet; you never feel rushed or harassed. The wine selection is quite nice. \r Try the pumpkin filled ravioli or the risottos. All great!!! Pros: Just about everything. Food, service, price. Cons: a little tight more
