I called three different electricians late in the day yesterday (Tuesday before Christmas) and Triangle Electricians was the only one who answered their phone - lucky for me! Brad arranged to meet me at our house today (Wednesday) to do some minor repairs and install a ceiling fan, and he arrived promptly on time (actually 7 minutes early) and finished four different small jobs and the ceiling fan installation in under an hour, for about 2/3 what other electricians have charged us for the same amount of work in the past. His work was excellent, and he was courteous, professional and helpful - he even told me where I found find an attic fan (our next job for him) for $20 less than what the big chain stores charge. (And he was right - I bought it this afternoon after he left, and he was dead-on about the pricing.) We will definitely use him again. The only reason I'm holding off on 5 stars is because these were small jobs, not major renovations. All in all, I am 100 percent pleased with his work and recommend him. more

I personally will never contact them again for any future work. I strongly urge if you are looking for reliablility, start looking elsewhere. I work for a professional company, locally in Raleigh. We were looking for a simple job be done from them and they assured us that they could help us. We scheduled them a few days ahead to come out on Monday to evaluate the issue, and then come back the next day to do the actual job. Well, Monday came and never heard from them. I called and called, left vmail and email messages. Still no response. I immediately sought out other companies. But was curious to see if they would respond on Tuesday. But to no avail, NOTHING!!!! So, Wed moring I called again and someone answered. I told them the situation and that we were very dissapointed with them. They didn't have much to say except they did write back (but I had no emails from them) and that they really didn't know whatelse to say. Needless to say, I just got off the phone and to which brings me here. \r :) more

This is a nice father and son team that specializes in residential remodeling projects. Don't let the friendly demeanor fool you. If you want a quality electrician, look else where. They left a huge hole in my laundry room where they installed a manual transfer switch, they mislabeled the breakers on the transfer switch, and, more importantly, they wired a 20amp circuit to a 15 amp breaker (that's a fire hazard). Plumber arranged for Electric Solutions to hook up a water heater. My mistake was not asking for how much it would cost. Was told they would put in a safety switch. When arrived said, code did not require it because circuit breaker box was in view from water heater. I accept that as true. However, all they had to do was hook one 2 foot 12 gauge wire from the water heater to the circuit breaker. My wife said they were courteosus and did the job well. I was not there, and they charged her $200 for about 15 minutes of apprentice work!!! Wish I was there to challenge on the spot. I called later and asked for a partial refund, but was declined. Here's a quote from their website: ""Not by the hour but by the job. We give you a low fixed price on your project, or repair."" That would not be a truthful statement in our case. Ultimately it's my fault for not getting it quoted. Just wish it would have been a more honest charge. Pros: Courteous and competant Cons: Extremely expensive for simple tasks more
