It's a sliver of a place in the West Village. Food consists of small plates of appetizers and a few sandwiches. It's the wine list that shines. I discovered a couple great Turkish white wines I never new existed. At an average of $10 for half a glass, the night will probably not be cheap, but you will learn... and taste something new. The harried staff of two (one Turk, one Frog?) manage the place in a brisk, but friendly way. It's crowded, but if you find a table you can have a cozy, even intimate, time. --Drink Club NYC is a roving group of NYC drinkers
