From this park during the early fall you can see hundreds of salmon migrating up the Deschutes River. There's also a salmon hatchery too. Easy trails go up and down the river, even a couple of waterfalls above you. The finale though is at the bottom of the falls where the water rushes over the rocks and plunges down to the bottom. During the winter months and early spring this is just spectacular.
