I'm a sushi lover, and I make a point of checking out the sushi places around SF. Tsunami is up there, with the hamano's and ebisu's and kabuto's. Let's hope it sustains this in the long run. I was a little afraid first, as the chefs were gaijins. But they do know their stuff, and they have this cool laid back attitude. And they love what they do. The specials are interesting (but misnamed: a tsunami nachos did not appeal to me until I saw it on a plate, and there was fish and no chips involved) and quite tasty. The two chefs do all the work, even deep frying the tempura'd crab or shrimp. Even though, the flow is good. No complain about the ingredients, all first quality.
