When I came to my appointment that should have been to discuss the results of my test I found several other people there as well and together we had to sit in a lecture style appointment for over an hour before he would give us our results in private rooms. I don't doubt that this man is good at his job, chiropractic medicine, however he uses his practice as a forum to also preach his views on America's disintegrating health care system, over medication of patients, reasons why children should not be vaccinated, doctors who only want to medicate and do surgery, and that poor spine health will lead to early death. The doctor also indicates, despite not being a nutritionist or physical trainer etc. that he will recommend proper eating habits, lifestyle suggestions etc. Assuming that everyone that comes in there is not living a healthy lifestyle by making everyone listen to his views. This was unsolicited and insulting. I do not need someone to cram their views down my throat and I was under the impression that he assumed that people that came into his practice needed to be taught the correct way to live as though we are not currently and he would be the educator on all, nutrition, exercise, immunizations, medications, etc. I felt that I was being recruited into some holistic religion despite my positive beliefs about holistic medicine, it was uncomfortable and unsolicited and like life coaching.
