Tropix Tiki Bar

Hiding in back of the Quality Inn is a way cool spot to kick back relax take in the sights ( I just love polka dot bikinis!) and have a few drinks. For 7.50 Tropics bar has a huge 32 oz I think Rum Runner. I had 2 of these... then my vision went blurry. Good Service. more

I love to stop here for a rumrunner drink, I like the beach area as well , but honestly it's not a place for children maybe the pool area but not the bar area, I'll tell ya why. When you have a bunch of drunks you never know when a dumb fight might break out, do you really want your children to see that or be in the middle, bars are not a safe place for children and children should not be in that kind of enviroment, Bars are for adult's over 21 to be not Kids, Most adult 's go to bars to not be around kids, it can be very annoying to people having children running around them. Take them to pier 60 where there are no bars and a park for the kids to hang out it's right down the street. Though Tropix is a relaxed atmosphere at most you never know when a fight may break out, like this last sunday! Some guy tossed a football and on accident bounced off another mans face it ended in a 5 man fight. Pros: cool people Cons: children should be kept near the pool area more

my mother owns the bar and it is amazing. i love how kids can enjoy themselves no matter what age they are. ever since i was 5 i went there and met the nicest and genuine people. i find it odd that people seem to think that bringing their children to a workplace such as this is an issue. it is a great place to socialize and enjoy great drinks and views. there is plenty of places to go and meander whether your with someone or alone. great place ! :) more

Poolside entertainment recently changed to a girl & guy (they played on Sunday, April 20th and on Thursday 24th). I live part time in Miami and own a home on Bellair Bch. This place is close to where I live and always enjoy having drinks at the Tikki Bar and listening to some tunes. The woman singing was good. Although, the guy need to be replaced, perhaps more guitar & singing lessions would help! On Sunday there were wau to many kids running around. One little boy was around 7+/- years old and older boys were around 12-13 years old. I overheard one of them saying the lady singing is my mom and the other guy is his step-dad. Really now don't bring your kids to work, have a little consideration for paying customers! Pros: Great place to hang, Ihop jas alway had a mean breakfast! Cons: Need to keep the employees kids from hanging out at the pool and beach! more
