I had an appt today at 1pm after an hour and a half of them discussing my hair the VERY RUDE "teacher" told me they didn't have enough time to do my hair and asked me if I wanted to reschedule for tuesday after I drove all the way from Yorkville I'm very upset and disappointed. I will NEVER come back to this place again not to mention it was gonna end up costing me the same as it would at a high end salon. I do recommend this school at ALL. more

Grateful Graduate 8/24/2007

I graduated from Tricoci School of Hair Design in 1991 and this was by far the best cosmetology education you could receive and I’m sure they still offer an outstanding program. I personally know that I received the best education I could possible get and to this day thank Franco for his knowledge he passed on. I highly recommend this school for there program and the service they provide to the public. Thanks again. more

Stay far away from this time and money pit! 11/20/2005

I was a customer at Tricoci school for years and finally am fed up. It is not worth the mental frustration of time to save the few dollars here. With a prestigious name and Franco (Mario's brother) an instructor himself you would expect excellence. Well, nothing could be farther from the truth. There are not enough students so you may wait for up to two hours and then be subject to another few hours (for any hair coloring) in the chair. The students are unprofessional, the atmosphere is far from relaxing or enjoyable and the prices keep rising. Either find more students and a better staff or close this hell hole. more

Cheap haircuts/haircoloring by beauty school students 7/28/2005

My friend has had really good luck with the highlights she's gotten done here. It is a bit risky because you always get a new student that works on your hair, but they are supervised by a professional and if you don't like what is done, the professional will fix it for you. I recommend requesting a student that has been in the program for awhile and has had plenty of experience. The prices are comparable to a Supercuts or Great Clips and the rates depend on the length of your hair (longer is more expensive). more
