This company does burial at sea for less than the Neptune Society. It's close to Los Angeles. Captain Art is very appropriate and kind. He has a nice boat and little ceremony he does and is very open and flexible to each family's wishes whether it's ""burying"" the ashes (with flowers provided by him) at a certain point (but more than 500 yards from the shore as required by the EPA) or whatever religious following the family does. He has two little poems he reads if the family doesn't have their own ""ceremony"" they want to do.
Pros: Simple, Respectful, and Memorable
Cons: Motion sickness?
