Unfortunately, this company continues to disappoint. The started off great. Many people have said professional and clean... I agree. I met with Ron, a sales rep for TCHC. He sold me on a new heating and AC unit to replace my old octopus heating system. It works great and is amazingly efficient. During the contract deal he said if you buy this unit you will get a $1000 cash card from Costco. I am sure they upcharge me somewhere in that range, but hey I am making this purchase because they can do it immediately and the representative seemed like a nice guy. more

We used Tricity for years and thought they were amazing. The workers where always professional and we received good, if not great, service. The problem with Tricity is that once you have a problem with them, you are treated in a rude and unprofessional manner. The head of customer service has a lot to learn about how to talk and treat customers. It took weeks to get someone to call me back about the problem we were having (the problem was caused by Tricity) and the head of customer service refused to even listen to me and basically told me to go away. I left several messages for the owner, Sheamus and never received a call back. I spoke to a friend who I had recommended to Tricity and she had similar problems with customer service. Everything is great as long as things are running smoothly. But once you have a problem, they will not work with you to resolve the issue. After my experience with them, I would strongly recommend using another vendor. more

Quality Workmanship Fair Prices 1/24/2012

My Experience recently when converting from oil to gas was excellent! I decided to use Tri-City after several people I know recommended their services and of course after meeting with their Sales person Jonathan. His presentation during my buying process was extremely professional and the price very fair. more

Geat Service Overall!! 11/8/2011

Had a really great experience with this company. The tech who came out to service the furnace was very friendly and courteous. They were neatly dressed and wore booties so not to track any dirt on my new hardwood floors. They did performed a heating tune up for only $99 which I thought was a great price for the service. the office even called ahead to let me know when he was coming over to my house becuase I work and needed to meet the tech during the window of time they gave me. Great Service overall!! more

my family has been using tri-city for over 20 years and not once did we ever get bad service.they are a grade A business in every aspect and these current reviews i'm sure aren't by disgruntled customers but by disgruntled competitors who have no idea how to keep up with tri-citys 100% guaranteed customer satisfaction. more

Do not hire this company 4/20/2011

Through a Home Depot solisitation, I had Tri-City come to my new home for PM or "preventative maintenance". The $89 price seemed too hard to pass up but the technician recommended $1,800 of real PM and I did not bite, but called my trusted AC contractor who told me that they would come the distance to my new home. They found a wire deliberately disconnected so that my unit would not have worked come the first summer heat wave. Do NOT fall for this sham. more

Not Fit for General Consumption 3/19/2011

After reading such positive reviews, I was surprised when my overall experience with Tri-City ended up being very disappointing. Once the money changed hands, so did the customer service, which another reviewer described as 'deplorable' -- I'd say that is exactly the right choice of word. What a shame. more

Tri City is like a chop of central air. my central air still vibrates and sounds terrible and they tell me that the cover isn't on right. they have no idea what they are doing and when you complain, they do nothing to fix it. don't ever use them. more

Deplorable Customer Service! 7/7/2010

Worst customer service of all time. They make promises to call you back and they never do. When you call in with a complaint, they promise to address the situation. Their idea of addressing the situation is ignoring the problem hoping that you will either forget about it or just grow tired of them and stop calling (when you do call, they grow frustrated with you, as if the problem is your fault). It took a full week and my calling everyday to schedule an appointment to have them install a gas boiler. I couldn't believe I was calling them nonstop to basically employ them. Getting a certificate of insurance was like pulling teeth. Again left a voice-mail for the contact person, after calling her 3 times and never receiving a phone call back, I decided to call for a 4th and final time. To my surprise, the rep picked up and sounded very annoyed. After telling them that I would not let anyone inside of my house with a certificate of insurance, she sent me a copy of the certificate. It only took forever to get a certificate. They are also misleading on the type of contractors they hire to complete a job but I got over that! Their pricing is decent if you fight with them and negotiate hardcore. But outside of that, I have no idea how they remain in business with subpar customer service. Cons: Rude, give you the runaround more
