Toys Toys Toys 4/10/2006

Toy R Us is always a great place to be, although the la mesa location isnt one of the best toys r us locations in the area. Often times they are out of stock on sale items and the shelves are sometimes barren and empty. Especially during the holidays, and parking is HORRID. They do offer a lookup service for purchases though if the receipt has gone incognito, and usually dont give you much of a hassle. Make sure you remember the online birthday club for your young ones. more

Fun store, especially for the kids! 3/20/2006

I like going to Toys R Us because I know that I will usually find what I am looking for there. Parking at this location is usually OK, except for the holidays. The staff has always been helpful. My biggest complaint is that they sometimes offer "coupon" deals, but won't give you the deal unless your BRING IN the coupon (they don't hand them out in store). As far as prices, sometimes Target is better, but because of the selection I think a lot of people end up shopping at TRU. more

Toys R Us 1/13/2006

This location, like I'm sure most are, has been here for years and is certainly dated. I don't think it's had a coat of paint or a remodel since it was opened. Upon entering the store it is very dated and usually quite crowded. The toys are well stocked except around the holidays. The prices always tend to be higher at TRU so I really don't know how they stay in business. Parking is plentiful here even though it's right next door to a grocery store. more

A Great Place Overall 6/16/2005

Going to Toys R Us is like being a kid again. They have all sorts of cool toys here, from barbies to gigantic robots. They know how to please the children. The pricing is great. The store has a lot of choices. Toys R Us is somewhere any parent should take their kid. more
