I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Town & Country Montessori School. When my grandson (who lives with me) first attended the school, his behavior was quite a challenge, both at home and at school. In the year and a half that he attended, the school was a wonderful influence on his development of personal responsibility. By the time he “graduated” as a pre-kindergartener, he had progressed academically to a remarkable level of achievement in reading and math. Today he is a second grader in public school in the gifted and talented program. I attribute his success and love of learning to the excellent foundation he received at the school, and to the nurturing atmosphere provided by Ms. Surangi and her dedicated and loving staff (in particular, his guide Ms. Daya).
