In ShortTop Cat's is one of few vital neighborhood bars to remain on the Short Vine. Although many of its customers are University of Cincinnati students, young working-class types are also regulars. Patrons can stay wet at the full bar and enjoy the entertainment inside--or head out back to the outdoor patio. In the summer, the bar hosts outdoor barbecues to a roster of local rock-and-roll acts, increasing in volume as day drags into night.
