Having been scared off by bad reviews, I've been neglecting a visit to the local diner. Turns out, that was a mistake. It's pretty much everything you'd want with a greasy spoon/diner.
The biscuits and gravy are well made and fluffy. The homefries are well seasoned, perhaps with a hint of cumin. Toast is plentiful. The pancakes were also large, fluffy, and delicious, by all accounts.
The decor and staff were both welcoming as well. Service was top notch and my coffee cup never went empty. They even permitted us to linger for quite awhile post meal without a glare, heh.
Also, it's not filled with the craptastic crowds you experience at Denver Diner on the weekends. More neighborhood, less trendy/popular, and just as good, if not better.
Will definitely return.
Pros: Friendly service, good prices, good biscuits
