While some of the sushi was at least average, the Philadelphia rolls, spicy tuna, and even California rolls were a big disappointment. Philadelphia roll seemed to have blended ingredients together (i.e., couldn't distinguish cream cheese, etc. -- and I couldn't taste cream cheese. Spicy tuna wasn't spicy and, although I can't say it wasn't fresh, it was off, very flavorless and slightly spongy texture. I'm used to imitation crab in California rolls. This was imitation something, but it was a paste with chunks, and it sure didn't taste like crab.
Maybe I'm not up on "new" sushi - but the old standards seem hard to mess up. Can't recommend a sushi place can't make a simple California roll taste good.
