We ate here this past evening. The portions were small and the sushi seemed less than fresh. more

Great place for apps. Although the drinks were so-so, the roast duck was tender and flavorful as well as the eel-Califonia roll. Regular drink specials try to add incentive, but the apps I will keep you coming back. more

Mediocre food and service. The worst part is that valet is mandatory. Their valet company is not insured. They smashed my car into another and I am now having to deal with this. Tokyo Blue has been of no help whatsoever. more

It was expensive, not worth it. Plates were small with no flavor... Sushi was small.. And they added a 20% tip, never coming back. more

The food was mediocre. However when I went I was with my husband and a couple friends of ours, there was 6 of us in total. The service was not that great but what truly made me and some of the other women at our table uncomfortable was the constant hovering of the hostess. She was constantly trying to flirt or be touchy with our husbands about subjects which did not pertain what so ever to anything on the menu. It got to the point where my husband had to tell her we don't need anything and we will just deal with the waiter. \r Honestly the hostess walked around with a tight black dress that was so short we caught a glimpse of her thong underneath. I don't mind paying a top price for top food however the food ended up being mediocre, and when combining the mediocre food, and the classless looking hostess we all unanimously agreed this place was not the high class place they are trying to be. \r stay far far away! the service is no good, food mediocre, and the hostesses dress like "street walkers" waiting for their prey. \r \r NEVER AGAIN!! more

At best mediocre. Very pricey for quality. Curry sauce curdled and bland. Although our server was nice after being served she disappeared. The manager not professional. Not what you expect for the $$$ you pay. more

Went on a Saturday night for dinner and stayed for the club. Sushi was ok but the club was great! Definitely a secret spot of cute (younger) girls who aren't very shy. Hope I'm not ruining it for the few who know but this is a great place to meet some very cute girls. I'll be back for sure. more

I brought a party of four here in December, spent over $200., and two of the entrees were overcooked dried-out duck. We left them on the plates. Upon leaving, the Maitre d' asked,"How was everything?" When I told him, his answer was,"I'll speak to the chef about it." I called after a few days and he still was "looking into it." I sent 2 e-mails to the restaurant and got no replies. \r I live within a 5 minute walk, but NEVER AGAIN! more

Restaurant itself was nice however the service and food was overpriced and not so great. We went on unlimited lobster night $40 pp. good price but once we ordered, our waiter disappeared and didn't come back until we got the check. All tables around us ha the same complaints. Soggy frozen french fries are sered with the lobsters. Not so upscale! This place sucks! more

Several weeks ago we went to Tokyo Blue for dancing and hear our favorite DJ Pete play. We ordered our Bottle of wine, expensive little bottle! However, while we were on the dance floor our waitress took one of our friends glass of wine, before it was even finished! After coming back to the table and confronting our waitress, she claims she did not take it?? Well, it just happened to disappear by itself?? Asked to speak the Manager, had to follow him to bring to our table, which in return he just walked away!!! Did not want to even acknowledge our group and did not want to hear about the missing wine glass. He was very ARROGANT, Disrespectful, did not even want to talk to us. He should be FIRED!! If this is the kind of MANAGER they have on their staff, this place is not going to be in business for long! Also after paying our Bill, my friend try to talk to him again about what happened, he just walked away and ignored him---RUDE, RUDE, Will not be seeing us here again, They need to take Customer Appreciation Classes and to keep respect to their customers. It's a shame they hire incompetent people, especially Manager like the one we had!!!!! more

I'd heard mixed reviews on this restaurant and, being someone who loves sushi, figured I had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the sushi/sashimi was and how good everything tasted! The appetizer (sushi tacos) was delicious and the best roll we had was the Hawain. As for the ambiance, it was interesting because it is definitely a hip, cool atmosphere but the hotel itself is rather dingy. We sat outside so did enjoy the ocean view but did not love the view of the hotel, people's drying laundry hanging from their balcony, etc. I would def go again. more

We had a Groupon for $50 (price: $25) so we went on a Wednesday night. We were not permitted to use the Groupon for "all you can eat (Maine) lobster." We ordered the Asian tacos (small portion, but unique and superb); Mac n' Cheese roll (which contained neither macaroni nor cheese, but looks and tastes decadent); red curry (flavor just right! and not watery); and mussels in tomato broth (huge portion, every single one opened, tender as butter). The total bill after Groupon was only $55. The server was so knowledgeable and had such great suggestions that we left an extra large tip. (18% is automatically added to the bill.) We were glad to have chosen a table outdoors with a view of the ocean because it was too cold and the music was much, much too loud inside. There's plentiful free parking right across the street so don't bother using the valet. more

I was really looking foward to dining at Tokyo Blue but half way through I couldn't wait to leave. The restaurant was nice it really sets the mood. The sushi rolls sound so good on the menu a little pricey but I dont mind spending more on good sushi, I was not impressed at all when the food arrived we don't even think we got the right rolls. The waitress served us our drinks and honestly $15.00 for a martini not worth it then after that we didn't see her again I had to stop a bus boy to ask for more drinks. Then she gave us our bill with just the drinks on it and for four drinks $63.00 wow!!! Then she came back to the table and said nice try, nice try for what you giving us the wrong bill? She gave us the new bill for $152.00 then we didn't see her for another 25 minutes finally I took the bill up front to the hostess at that time our waitress was up there and had the nerve to ask what was wrong then told me to wait 5 minutes at that time I flipped out she then snatched the bill from my hand then I no longer wanted to pay her 18% grauity the lady up front was a great asked what she could do to make our dining experince better we didn't want anything but to leave and of course not pay our crappy waitress $30.00 I like the fact that they wanted us to be happy but by that time I was far past being happy.Would I eat there again maybe wont be my top choice althought looking for a good sushi place around Tokyo Blue try TEE-JAY'S on S. Federal near Cypress Creek far better. more
