I called this establishment approximately a week and a half ago to book an appointment to have my cat groomed and shaved. I have a rather unruly cat when it comes to groomings and vet visits, so I took my cat into the vet prior to the visit to have her sedated. This seems to relieve a lot of stress on her, but costs approximately $150 with an exam. So, after paying for the sedation, packing up my kitty and driving across Portland for my appointment, you can imagine my suprise when the owner, who the appointment was with, was not there. Not only that, but the employee who is there tells me that she does not ""do cats"" and the owner is not coming in today. After attempts by the employee to call the owner on her cell phone (with no return call), I ended up leaving. Mind you, I am now out $150 for the vet visit and sedation, have a cat sedated for no reason (which is really unfair to my cat), the gas money and time to come from Tigard to this hole-in-the-wall in deep S.E., and my cat is still not groomed and unhappy. The only time I would recommend this place is if my worst enemy needed a recommendation for a groomer. I do have to say that cleanliness was also an issue. In hind-sight, I am quite happy that I didn't end up using this business as it appeared that the crates had not been vacuumed or cleaned in quite some time. Putting a clean animal in an extremely dirty crate not only undermines all the hard work of cleaning just done, it's plain cruel to the animal. I don't imagine this woman operating a grooming business out of a trailer on the side of 122nd will be in business much longer. Save the drive, the money and the headache sure to come and go somewhere else. \r
Cons: Bad business practices, no guarantee on your appointment, waste of time.
