GREAT Downtown Breakfast 3/3/2010

Went to Tito's on Saturday morning and ate the Pork ala Mexicana breakfast taco. Is was out of this world. It was so good that my wife and I went back on Sunday. She loved her bean, egg, and cheese taco. Breakfast downtown for less than $10. Pros: Flour Tortillas to die for Cons: All the locals come here (Is that a con?) more

Luv luv luv the chicken enchiladas 3/3/2010

Went for a late breakfast but they weren't serving past eleven, so I tried a few a la carte items. Amazing green chicken enchiladas with the most exquisite cream sauce I have tasted in a while. The refried beans in the bean in cheese were just right, not to runny and not too stiff. Flour tortillas were just this side of thick and cooked to perfection as well, no scorch marks and not raw. Green salsa was great with a kick that sneaks up on you. Red salsa good as well. Chicken fajitas passable with slightly raw bell pepper and onion. Corn chips also cooked just right and not greasy at all. Service was very good thanks to mother and daugther servers Denise and Desiree. If I had to pick something that I didn't like it would be the coffee. It was a little weak and the flavor was off. Pros: Awesome enchiladas, good beans, tortillas Cons: Weak coffee more

Not Good!!! 2/15/2010

On Valentine's Day, I took my wife out for brunch and found every place packed but Titos. We had eaten there on First Friday and the food was kind of good, so we thought, why not. Boy what a bad choice. First you couldn't get a waitress to wait on our table - 4 waitresses and only maybe 8 tables full. Next the coffee came with the milk in a little styrofoam cup - lukewarm coffee. We had to make a stink just to get another cup of coffee as the waitresses were talking to their freinds. Things got worse when the food came. Again, lukewarm food and not as ordered - no chili con carne on the enchiladas as advertised in the menu. We put our food in take-out boxes and went home and re-heated it in the microwave. NEVER AGAIN. I wouldn.t even give this place one star!! Cons: Cold food, cold coffee, poor service, etc................. more

Great food and service 6/23/2008

This restaurant is good. The service is good. I have been here many times with coworkers and friends. The service is always good. The beef fajitas are great. Pros: great food Cons: parking more

I do NOT recommend!! 5/5/2008

A friend and I went to try this place out. It started out well, were seated right away, service was good and the place was full. We ordered our food and the waitress refilled our tea. My friend doesn't like limes so she was removing one from her tea. Along with the lime came a HUGE slimy insect! I called the waitress over to show her and she said not to worry, she'd get us new tea... I told her that we didn't want new tea or our food but that we were going to leave - and we did! Pros: Quick seating Cons: the HUGE INSECT more

Good if you like eating egg shells 3/29/2008

The tortillas are pretty good and if you are looking for breakfast tacos then most of them are ok. Carne guisada is good but on 2 occasions I found egg shells in my potatoe and egg tacos. There are too many good taco houses in the city to eat at one that serves egg shells. more

Visitor or resident, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH TITO'S!!! 3/18/2008

Tito's has been mine and my husband's favorite Mexican restaurant since we moved here 2 years ago. The food is absolutely amazing, and quickly became my comfort food. Everything from their breakfast tacos and plates, to the unique dinner menu, there is always an old favorite or something new to try.\r This restaurant is family owned and you will see the same staff every time you go, no matter what time of day. Definitely skip Rosario's (a mexican joint a little ways down the street) and go straight to Tito's. You will not be disappointed! \r The chorizo breakfast plate is awesome, but don't be shy about trying the chilequiles plate either. Also, they have an amazing home-made cilantro cream sauce that they put on chicken enchiladas that you can try if you aren't into the typical verde sauce that is on most orders of chicken enchiladas. \r Also, they have great sweet tea served with a lime.\r Okay, I could go on about how amazing this place is, but seriously, if you are visiting and don't have much time, Tito's is a MUST! Pros: Delicious Food, Great South Town Location, Local Art Display, Great Service Cons: Parking more

Your Waitress was excellent, explaining the menu, checking on us, and very friendly! 2/18/2008

The menu has lots of choices and some unique items like the cilantro cream chicken enchilldas (Excellent). Hand made Gordita's and the rice was also outstanding. Definitely a place to try and keep coming back to! Pros: Service and large menu more

Very Nice Restaurant! 7/10/2006

Tito's has a good variety of Mexican dishes. The ingredients are all fresh and flavourful! The service was fantastic. I went with a group of people and we were treated very well and were all satisfied with the food and service. Pros: food, price, service Cons: loud music (depending on where you sit) more

The food is the best that I have ever tasted. You can taste the pride that is taken in preparing the food. True authentic Mexican food you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Homemade corn tortillas (rarely found), whole beans have a kick to them making them very tasty, rice prepared with peas (like mama makes it), a variety of enchiladas, big homemade gorditas and wonderful puffy tacos. If you haven't tried their food you must go. Pros: Inexpensive, Casual dining, Excellent food more
