This was the first time I have had a facial and I have to admit that I was very nervous! My biggest fear has always been that my face would totally break out after a facial. Joyce took the time to really explain to me what she would be doing and how it would help me. The facial was wonderful! Totally and completely relaxing and my skin looked sooo good afterwards! I trust Joyce completely and will definetly go back for all of my skin care needs! Pros: no pressure to buy, very explanatory, one on one service more

Great Find! 10/15/2004

This place is great, Joyce made me feel comfortable when I called to inquire about her services. I went in for my first bikini wax. Everyone else I called wanted to push the Brazilian, but she was the only one who gave great reasons why it's not a good option, besides just the pain! I appreciate her honesty, no other salon was willing to offer that kind of advise, and the way she really made the experience more comfortable. I plan on going back to her for other services as well. more

Joyce is very personable. You feel right at home and have the place to yourself. She uses the best products and provides great tips that I can use at home to relax and maintain healthy young skin! I almost fall asleep every time I have a treatment. That's true relaxation for me. Pros: Great results, relaxing, wonderful staff Cons: , none, none more

Incredible day! 9/7/2004

Being new to the area, and with my mom coming in from out of town, I decided a Spa Day was in order! I made appointments for massages and spa pedicures. When we got there, it was so relaxing and cozy. Our pedicures with Joyce were wonderful, but I give my highest kudos to Laurie who did out massages! She was AWESOME and i have to say it was THE best massage I have ever had, and I have been lots of places (not to mention my mom is still raving about Laurie's "magic hands"!). We didn't feel rushed at all and we were in such good hands... it was such a wonderful, warm atmosphere... Now go see Laurie! Happy with Service 8/15/2004

The spa is so private and so relaxing. I was very happy with the service that Joyce and Samantha provided. It was my first time ever, to go to a spa and it was such a great experience, I felt so rejuvenated. I will defenitely be coming back soon and will have my mom, who so deserves to relax, go there soon. more

My sister & I went together to get a facial & pedicure for the first time, which was a gift for my sister's birthday, and we both enjoyed it tremendously. We were both pleased & happy with the results that we received from both Joyce & Samantha. We felt Samantha did a fabulous job on our pedicures. It litteraly put me to sleep...and forgot all about my worries. If you want to have the total privacy & relaxation, this is the place to go to. Pros: inexpensive, great service, privacy more

I have tried numerous spas in the area, and after receiving a demo of the facial toning from Joyce, I was so impressed that I scheduled additional services at her spa. The spa provides a calming environment that allows for peace, relaxation, and rejuvenation internally and externally. more

My experience with The Spa . . . for the Woman Who Cares was fantastic!! The minute I walked into the The Spa I immediately felt relaxed, it is a very soothing atmosphere. Joyce makes you feel so special and pampered and she is so knowledgable in her trade. Because she gives one on one treatments (unlike bigger spas with so many people around you don't feel special) even the very shy feel comfortable. I not only HIGHLY recommend her services I have purchased gift certificates for some of my friends and family. Pros: no crowds, soothing atmosphere, easy to get to more

I bought a gift certificate for my wife at this Day Spa. I never heard of it until I discovered it off of city search. I trusted the higher ratings and that it was private with more of a personal/highend feel. I visited The Spa.. before I purchased it. I loved the art gallery and discovered she carried a broad range of products that my wife bought in Hawaii on vacation last year! My wife raved about her time at The Spa... she was treated so special! You don't experience that type of quality at larger spas! Thank-you! Fantastic 5/17/2004

I recently visited The Spa and purchased a series of the facial toning. I am totaly amazed at the results! I saw this machine on Oprah and was quite ectatic to find out that The Spa offers this service. You can actually see the results immediately and it is totally relaxing. Joyce Murdock the esthetician also did my brows perfectly. She pampers you and uses the time it takes to achieve the results you want, without spending a whole lot of money. more

My experience at "The Spa" was amazing. Joyce made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. I loved the fact that I was the only guest in there, it felt very private and exclusive. Relaxing Retreat 4/14/2004

Owner Joyce Murdock skillfully provided just what I needed and hoped for, a quiet retreat where I comfortably relaxed while enjoying a manicure, pedicure and facial. Joyce is not a clock-watcher; instead, I smiled when I realized that my 2-hour appointment extended some time beyond. I think I even hodded off. It was all about me relaxing and enjoying; she instinctively knew and respected this. She talked when I wanted to and became almost invisible as I slipped into total enjoyment. Patrons are greeted at the door with personalized scents and a pair of slippers; they are then encouraged to proceed to treatments at their own pace for total relaxation. Organic European facials and massages are given in an adjacent treatment room, while pedicures are performed in a cozy armchair stocked with plenty of reading material.
