We had a fantastic dinner at The Royal Scam. We had the delectable appetizers - perfectly seared tuna and succulent beef tenderloin, accompanied by refreshing and perfectly seasoned greens. For a main, we had the grilled duck, cooked perfectly to a moist medium with a crunchy and heavenly skin - that takes SKILL, y'all! The duck was accompanied by rich and flavorful mashed potatoes. We drank dessert with signature cocktails (the Dozen Roses and Creme Brulee martinis). I bet the bread pudding is sensational, but I can't say the cocktails were not the right choice. We live in Houston, where we have restaurant choices of a much larger city than Mobile -I think The Royal Scam out-serves anything my Big City has to offer.
