Best

That sucks that you had some bad spag, because I LOVE these places! I used to work at one for a few years in HS so maybe I'm biased, but they have great sauces (I think at least)...

Worst

The Spicey Sauce was not very good, not like a robust Bolognese, maybe from a can. Veal Parmesan was barely breaded making for a gray/brown look, not very appealing. Service...

The Spicey Sauce was not very good, not like a robust Bolognese, maybe from a can. Veal Parmesan was barely breaded making for a gray/brown look, not very appealing. Service was very good. Not worth waiting for (wanted to tell the people who were waiting not to waste their time). more

Mama Mia, Love That Spaghetti Sauce 11/2/2005

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Vancouver. I love the food, from the hot baked bread and rich meat sauce to the crisp cold salad with delicious dressing (bleu cheese is a favorite). The staff is friendly and helpful. The ambience (beautiful furnishings) and usually the right temperature (never freezing) are all a plus. The new additions to the menu are delicious...would highly recommend the Cobb Salad. Desserts are yummy if you can possibly save room. Of course, spumoni is served along with your beverage included in the dinner price. Prices are reasonable and service is efficient. Wish they wouldn't close after lunch at 2:30 as we often forget and like to have a late lunch. more

Really 9/23/2005

That sucks that you had some bad spag, because I LOVE these places! I used to work at one for a few years in HS so maybe I'm biased, but they have great sauces (I think at least) plus that great sourdough bread and garlic butter. Ymmmm, just thinking about that place makes me hungry. If you do go, I say try the manager's favorite with mushroom sauce and mizithra. So good. Also, they have a creamy pesto that's like ranch but better. Sorry you had a bad experience, but I LOVE the Spag Factory! more

great family restaurant 9/10/2005

It's hard for our family to eat out anywhere but at a fast food place. Our kids usually complain about what's on the menu. But everyone loves the Old Spaghetti Factory. I appreciate their kid's menu and prices. We feel as if it's very affordable for a family. We try to go on the off hours so there is no wait and we can sit in the trolley car. I also appreciate how the restaurant is family friendly. The employees ask the kids what they'd like to order, and interact with them. more

I thought the spaghetti was terrible!! Service Good 9/8/2005

I really thought the spaghetti was terrible!! Since I didn't like the first bowl they brought out, they let me try a different kind, and thought it was terrible too. I was disappointed, because I LOVE spaghetti and heard great things about this place. My hubby hated his too. But the customer service was great! more
