From The Website 1/3/2012

I first found the Mussel Pot on the web so I decided to visit here once together with my brother Ed. Right after our individual work we headed directly towards the restaurant; we were both tired. My brother instantly loves it here for the place was pretty comfy. He considers the place as good for unwinding from the hard days work. The people here were accommodating as well which makes you want to stay for a couple of minutes. We ordered lobsters and mussels which I forgot the names and we find it very excellent. It’s definitely a must-visit sea-food restaurant of the country. I consider it as one of the country’s finest. more

Worth The Journey 1/3/2012

We live from a far away village from Bleeker Street and I guess it’s worth the long travel all the way down there at the Mussel Pot. It was my daddy’s birthday and he swears that we will be celebrating it on a sea food restaurant. His officemate was the one who told him to try the restaurant. Most of us are really fond of sea food that’s why we instantly love the place. I guess they are excellent in most of everything they do. Their service is good and fast and the food is superb. The ambiance of the place is excellent. They had achieved everything that a customer is looking for a restaurant. more

Excellent Meals at a Bargain Cost 12/17/2011

My husband and I have visited The Mussel Pot twice now. Mostly because it serves only good food at a good price, but also because it is excellent meals at a bargain cost. Most of the time we had the New Yorker and the Indian Mussels. The mussels were cooked completely and very healthy. Neither of us experienced any bad or negative about this restaurant or their food, and we were so happy about it because we had more than enough meals what we expect for.\r The staff and their service were also excellent. It was very completing - warm welcome. The food is relatively inexpensive for New york. Their presentation of their menus appeared beautifully. more

Amazing Meals and Service 12/17/2011

I am a consistent customer, especially for lunch in The Mussel Pot. Although most of the meals are good and nice, the baked recipes are sometimes a little plain. All the staff is very employed to me and instantly try to address any issues that come up. Best are their mussels and lobsters! Their various non seafood recipes are always delightful.\r I really like this place and will be coming back again here for some more amazing meals and service soon. I dropped by here for a brunch and was impressed by the dimension and good quality of the both the meals and staff, Where else can you get a brunch meal that can keep you full, employees were amazingly helpful and very friendly and the sweets were amazing. I really like this place and will be coming back again here for some more amazing meals and service soon. more

Versatile Family Atmosphere 12/16/2011

The Mussel Pot is a wonderful place to sit and appreciate meals, from brunch to dinner; its advantage is its location. It's a really looking place and with a fantastic meals with a very versatile family atmosphere. It has admirably higher objectives if you are prepared to pay a little additional for the fulfillment of good meals. \r When I was at this place, my major issues were creating a decision between so many fantastic mussel entrees. I would be happy to tell \r everyone to have a look at out their day-to-day set collection, it’s actually quite fantastic value for income. And they really offer fantastic seafood.\r They really offer fantastic value and an assortment of alternatives, sure to make everyone in the party happy, whatever their choices may be. This is a relaxed and heated and pleasurable place that provides unassuming but wonderful drinks and meals. more

An Enjoyable Celebration 12/16/2011

A group of our circle of friends, 6 of us were going out for my best bud's birthday celebration and a few individuals on Tweets lately have been tweeting about The Mussel Pot. So we determined to have a look at it out. The images do not do this wonderful eating place proper rights. When we got there we requested to sit in the playground but since there were no big furniture available then, we sat in the lounge but still near to the terrace so we can see the fountain. No biggie cause it was a bit freezing out anyway. We determined to take in wines and purchased a few containers. We purchased a few different mussel recipes to try and contributed everything loved ones design. Everything was delicious. The mussels were clean, big and hot and provided in these lovely containers. We now had an enjoyable and an excellent eating place for celebrations.\r more

A Total Big Mussel Fan 12/16/2011

I am very much very pleased to be one of the clients of The Mussel Pot. Why? It's because of them I acquired to really like having mussels. They have a lot of different types of worldwide mussel recipes. And I really like it so much. \r Also, the assistance is really excellent. No issue how fast paced employees is, they will really try their best to help you with your needs. They will squash you in to their fast paced time.\r And lastly, the location itself is the best. I'm ridiculous about the options of the having location. The designs on the walls, the outside terrace, the furniture, and the bar. Truly incredible. more

Feel at Home 12/16/2011

I went to this restaurant on a romantic and I really had a good time. The meals was wonderful and the service on factor. My date doesn't eat any seafood but there were a lot of non-seafood dishes to select from on the list such as rice, chicken, meat and lamb.\r I had the Indian Mussels and they were amazing. If you want to impress your date on your wines collection this is the best location since everything they have is wonderful. Even the home red & white-colored which we both tried were amazing.\r The lawn fountain is awesome and the outside sitting entrance and rear is big plus. You can come here as casual or formal and not be able to experience that you are out of place..\r more

Horrible dining experience! 12/16/2011

This is my first review on Yelp even though I'm an avid Yelp user.lol Anyways my fiancee and I had a horribe dinner experience at yelp and sent an email to the Mussel Pot Manager and webisite about our experience. I'll paste my email I sent them on the bottom so everyone can read it, Dear Mussel Pot, I had dinner with my fiancee earlier at 5pm at the Mussel Pot. Our experience was absolutely horrible from the moment we walked in the door. By the bar up front we saw 2 female employees applying makeup on each other. We were seated in the back near the kitchen where we hear the kitchen staff and other employees joking around and talking about their personal business, cursing, and could even hear someone calling the other person a ""a hippie chick"". My fiancee then complained to one of the people in charge and we were reassigned a seat far away from the kitchen to avoid the noise but we can still hear the noise that was coming from upfront too! Then our mussel entrees came and while we were eating the meal was okay then as my fiancee was eating his food he found a piece of plastic that was later told from the manager on duty that it was from the shipping of mussels in his food when my fiancee complained. The manager apologized and didn't really do anything about the situation. He was busy doing paper work with another employee. We were very disappointed by the whole dining experience and very unprofessional service. We were so much in a rush to get out of the restaurant due to the bad experience we forgot a best buy plastic bag that contained a present for my fiancee's mother. We were looking forward to eating at your restaurant but this whole experience ruined it. more

I have been to this restaurant 3 times 12/16/2011

It gets very busy on the weekends. I recommend making a reservation and be prepared to wait a few minutes for your table if your reservation is between 7-9PM. I don't mind waiting since their bar area is so cute and welcoming. The bartenders always have a nice conversation and the drinks are tasty. Each time I ate here I tried a different mussel entree. I have had the New Yorker (spicy), the Lobster dijon (amazing) and the Thai (tasty). If you like rich dishes then definitely try their Lobster Mac n Cheese. It's incredible and everyone raves about it. more

A Memorable Day 12/13/2011

A month ago I was looking for a good place that had something different on the menu besides the usual items. Then I found The Mussel Pot. I sat in the outside garden and it was a beautiful and cloudy day. I ordered the new york mussel pot. This dish was so delicious. I am planning to come back this weekend to try some of the other lunch dishes or dinner dishes. My best friend is coming to town next week and I will be taking her out to dinner at this new gem of a restaurant. I know she will be glad if I will brought her here. And I'm going it a memorable day for her. more

First was the Best 12/13/2011

Last week my friend invited me to dinner and she wouldn't tell me where we were going. She just told me its a new place she read about and it has been getting great reviews. When we arrived I saw the name on top of the awning ""The Mussel Pot"". At first I was very hesitant but still we went inside. The look of the place was so nice.\r One of the staff took us to our table and I was stunned on how beautiful the outside garden was. The server came over and took our drink orders. We just got the house wine which we were told was very good and boy was it and this was the best I've tasted. My friend convinced me to order a mussel dish even though there were plenty of non mussel dishes on the menu. So we ordered one. And Oh My! So this is what mussels taste like. I grew up in a house where my sister made me dislike seafood. But not anymore. Now I am a mussel lover. more

The Finest Restaurant 12/13/2011

"" The Mussel Pot is truly one of the finest restaurant I have even been to. Though I am not really fond of eating mussels, but they have other types of seafood available.\r The environment outside is nice, they are having garden theme. The inside was more classical. Seems like only rich people can afford to come here, but actually it's not true.\r The are affordable, at the same time delicious. My experience here is really unforgettable. ""\r more
