Best Drum & Bass in LA 11/10/2006

Great vibes, 21+ with fly honeys everywhere! Drinks are so/so, average price, $5 for a Heine, $7 for Jack & Coke. Club is small & kinda dirty, but who cares when you're having a drunk time?? The upstairs patio is a great chill spot and quiet enough to meet & socialize. I go on Thursdays for Respect, LA's longest running Drum & Bass. By far the best thing about this club is the great vibe everyone has! An LA staple.\r PS. Parking is on the street in the hood and may take 20 mins of searching for a spot 1/2 mile away. Still worth it inside on a Thursday! Pros: World class Drum & Bass DJs Cons: Just small & kinda dirty, but the girls & music outweigh that easy. more

nice neighborhood club 8/12/2005

it's small enough where you don't feel lost in the crowd, but big enough where they can still get decent d.j.s in there. nice patio area on the roof where you can chill out and talk. drinks are just standard, nothing outstanding. fun place to go and dance when you're not out to try to make a spectacle of yourself. more

Rudest club in Hollywood 4/26/2005

This establishment is probably staffed by the rudest people you can ever meet. Especially on Sunday nights. Spend your time and money elsewhere!!! I use to love it when it was the Martini Lounge, but it has really fallen by the wayside in terms of organizing and communication. Stay home and watch a DVD.. Pros: Patio Cons: Staff has attitude more

Although I miss Martini Lounge 5/20/2003

It's still a nice mellow place to go. The interior has gotten more ""trendy"", but the upstairs patio is beautiful. The bartender that works upstairs is also great. Saturday nights are the best with WAX and Indigo alternating. Thursday's Respect is still ongoing and great for all the D&B heads. Pros: Never crowded, Beautiful Patio Cons: Got trendy, Small crowds more

Random changing cover 5/3/2003

Watch out for the switcheroo! Called 15 minutes prior to arriving about cover and was told ""$10.00 b4 11 & $15.00 after. When we arrived, a group of 8, it was $20.00 (tho the place was totally empty). We explained had we just called. She asked who did you call, us-the Larchmont. We asked - how we could we know the cover if calling is incorrect. She said ""Well you would had to call me"". We paid and it would have been lame for $1. Skip it! more

Great music, small crowd 4/5/2003

Went, expecting a really packed club. Got there at 10:30 and there were maybe 30 people inside. When we left at 12:30, there were more, but still not crowded enough. Too bad, as the music was really great and the staff were nice (no attitude). Maybe because it's a bit secluded and not yet known? Great place to dance, parking is easy, girls get in free (guest list) and strong drinks. Need more people though. Pros: Great hip-hop, Cheap, No attitude Cons: Few people more
