Stressed and ready to pull my hair out, I found this hidden gem . I use to live in California and haven't been able to find great therapist like they have on the west coast until I went here. I asked for hour massage but decided it wasn't enough.. I extended my massage to 2 hours and added extra time for scalp tickle.. This is the only way for me to really relax. I hope to take time for "myself" on a monthly or even weekly basis. more

This is a copy of a complaint filed by a friend of mine against the Maui Spa. STAY AWAY from this place. Very unethical business practices. Will not try to please their customers. The money is only important to them. Several months ago I purchased a gift certificate after attending a function at the spa. Since my wife and i are devotees of massages i felt I wanted to try the facility. I made appointments on Saturday May 21st at 5pm for massages. A sweedish massage for my wife and a sweedish massage with reflexology for myself. We arrived at 4.45pm.At 5 pm we were shown to a room for a foot bath. We waited for 30 minutes till someone came to get us for our massage. When I entered the room for my massage I looked down at the message table and noticed there was no covering on the head rest, I asked the theapist to please place a cover on the head rest. When I did lie face down, i had to ask for a foot rest for my feet to be elevated. The therapist then proced to roll up a towel. I asked him if he a more sturdy piece, he said that was all he had. He then proceeded with the massage. 1/2 way thru the massage I asked him about the reflexology, he stated he doesn't do that. At that point I knew that this place was not up to my standards that I've enjoyed at other spa's in the past.When I dressed and went down to the front desk I expressed my displeasure to the clerk on duty. She informed me I should speak with the manager Sasha. I called Monday 5/23 to discuss the issue. I proceeded to tell Sasha of my experience and asked Sasha for a refund on the balance of my $500.00 gift certicate, she informed me that the policy was NO REFUNDS.Since there was a misrepresentation of what I was supposed to receive, I feel a refund is due. There is a blance of $260.00. I will not go back there for any future treatments. All I want is a credit back to my credit card more

I wasn't impressed. I treated myself for my birthday. First of all, they messed up my appointment and booked me on the wrong day. Then even though they were able to get me in when I arrived the receptionist argued with me that she had booked my appoinment and knew she did it right. I think I know when my own birthday is. Anyway, they were still able to take me. My services were okay. The facial didn't do much for my skin and the massage was mediocre. Definately not worth the sky high prices. The hana room is pretty but I was uncomfortable being in there while there was another woman taking a bath. It was very weird. Especially since I had to pay to use it, unlike at other spas when the use of the facilities is included. The spa is clean and the therapists were nice enough, but it wasn't a very good experience, especially for the price. There are other spas in town that are more professional, less expensive and have better treatments. more

MUST MUST request Jo, she knows exactly what you need and how to help you deflate. The best atmostphere, a sense of peace the minute you walk in and the best experience!!! I will definately go back! Jo's technique, wisdom, skills and strength are amazing. I have had too many massages in the past (no-one compares!!!!!) both therapeutic and relaxing but her intuition seem to know what is needed and where at the right times! IT'S a MUST!!!!! more

My finacee and I had a wonderful experience at the Maui Spa. We did the Hana Experience, and it is soooo cool. It's a great way to start of the time at the spa. It relaxes your muscles prior to the massage. As well, I had Jo give me my massage and she is great. She applies the perfect level of pressure and you can tell that she is very experienced. I fell into a state of complete relaxation. She is very attentive to the client. We will definitely come back to visit again!! -Troy more

The massage I had was the worst I had ever had! The guys hands were like sand paper & he was not experienced at all. When I asked him what he did really for a living he told me he was a drummer in a band I told him dont quit your not good at massaging. After my massage I went to take a shower and the electric went out in the building. The owner of the spa walked me across the parking lot to another building so that I could blow dry my hair in their lobby! After complaining to her about my message and then the electric going out she didnt even offer to discount my services. What a shame because the atmosphere was nice but, I will never go back there, thats for sure. more

I love this place. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Try the Hana it is a great experience. Very clean lockers and showers. Will definately will be going back. more

I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this place. The front desk girls are very friendly, and everyone who works there makes you feel so welcome. I got there and they gave me a foot soak with some tea in an awesome room with twinkling lights. I only had one service, a facial, which was totally relaxing - you MUST get one. I am so going back for more, especially to try their Hana Room. I felt so good when I left - I am DEFINITELY coming back! more

my girlfriend gave me a gift card for my birthday for a massage, scrub, and facial.... i was sooooo relaxed.... my massage by NIKKI was awesome, she got really got my neck and shoulders really good like I asked her... never had a scrub before, that was cool... facial by RENATA was awesome too... never had that before either... was asleep by the end of it all... can't wait to go back!!!! overall professional, relaxing experience in a nice high class place... Hawaii in Florida?? The Maui Spa and Wellness Center in Boca Raton!!!! My husband and I had the most phenomenal experience, it was like our honeymoon ALL OVER AGAIN!!! We got free tea and fruit in the relaxation room and a foot bath, in the most comfortable robes! We are spa people and like to get away together frequently to spend time away from the kids and no other spa compares. The service is above and beyond incredible! GO THERE!!!! I have visited almost every high end spa in Broward County and some in PBC and I was really impressed with this spa for a few reasons. I love the quiet atmosphere of the spa and the decor. The Hanna room is just beautiful! I got a facial and massage and both were great. They have a nice rooftop deck to have lunch or just relax. And Tues - Saturday Barabara the Tea Lady is there. She prepares a small lunch menu every day, all homemade. She makes the most amazing green tea cookies and to die for banana cake with all organic ingrediants. And her teas are WOW. I'm not much of a tea person and I couldn't resist purchasing some of her delicions teas. I will definitely go back to this spa. The service was perfect, people were so friendly, the rooms and locker areas were extremely clean and well done. They are even open to the general public w/o spa appts if you want to stop by for tea or lunch on the rooftop. I'm not one to write a review but I was so impressed with this relatively new spa (only a year old) that I wanted to spread the word. I plan on going back again and again and already purchased some gift certificates for holiday presents. more

If you are looking for a tropical, relaxing getaway you won't have to travel all the way to Hawaii because you have found it right in Boca Raton at the Maui Spa. This spa offers beyond a 5-star service, it is paradise the moment you walk in the door. It's not your typical spa where you get your services and you're out the door; it is much, much more. They offer holistic total body wellness with yoga, hula classes, acupuncture; and they have the Orchid Tea Room which offers healthy all natural food. They offer every kind of service you can think of and only use all natural products, and that is so important during a time when everything is loaded with preservatives and chemicals and nothing good. They are incredibly accomodating, and will accomodate groups of any size. Not to mention the events they often have. They can transform their already fabulous rooftop into a gorgeous Hawaiian evening. You will absolutely forget you are in Boca! I can't seem to stay away from this place, the people who work there are so friendly and professional and always make you feel comfortable and welcome. We visited The Maui Spa & Wellness Center this week and feel in love with their amazing Hana hydrotherapy room. It's this incredible room that offers all different types of unique hydrotherapy treatments like copper bath tubs, swiss showers, aromatherapy steam etc.. I would recommend it to anyone to try- just by itself or definitely before a massage. I especially loved their incredible deluge shower which mimics the feeling of a waterfall running down your back-you'll be addicted once you try it once! more

What a terrific, relaxing spa. I spent the entire day being pampered. A fantastic lunch was served on the roof, under a shady umbrella. The massage was the best I've had. I'll definitely be returning soon! more
