I live in West Seattle and I must say the service is HORRIBLE! I tried over and over to give this place a chance and I was just there the other night and these waitresses and hosts don't know how to smile and are rude. The girl comes to clean our table, my friend tries to help by picking up some of the plates and accidently brushed her hand with the plate and she jerks her hand away and my friend apologizes telling her he was just trying to help and she rolls her eyes and says, ""yea, I guess I will just have to go wash my hands..."" !!!!!!!!!!!! And to top it off, Im sure she was just picking her nose because she had a giant booger on the end of her nose. This place doesn't like it when you split the tab, ok fine, but this time they did??!! Be consistant, you either split the tab or don't (lose more in tip) We ask her if they changed their policy and her answer: ""well we normally don't, but if we aren't busy then we will."" WOW its HORRIBLE customer service. I have worked in the resturants, customer service for over 12 years, and this is a place a lot of my friends do not go to and I refuse to go there now. Its really too bad because the food is great. If any management from the Matador reads this, seriously, hire people who understand they are in a customer service job.
