I used this attorney on advice of an aquaintance. He talked a good game and seemed kind and caring in during my first meeting with him. After he got his money it was hard to get a response from him, all his work is done by his paralegal (who has a serious attitude problem) and his advise for every difficulty was do it or give up. It is clear that neither of them check the work they do, they had several significant errors in several important areas. All they really did was create a bunch of leg-work for me and filled in my information into software from bestcase. So I basically paid a bushel of money for a glorified data-entry clerk. I feel ripped-off and taken advantage of. Not that Richard nor his paralegal really ever appeared to give a crap.\r
His voicemail is frequently overloaded. Getting him on the phone is one of the most time-consumming and tedious efforts I've ever had the displeasure of putting myself through. After my first filing most emails took 5+ days for a response.\r
In my estimation this ""attorney"" is a money-grubbing slug with a questionable moral center. Don't let his calm and seemingly caring demeanor fool you. I will never trust Richard (Rick) Franzblau. \r
Before doing business with this or any attorney learn what questions to ask and what answers to look out for and GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. \r
Personally, I wouldn't anticipate that Richard could do an adequate or timely job of filing my trash, much less legal documents.\r
I caution you, in my opinion as a former client, Richard is NOT a capable, effective, or well informed attorney.
Cons: Slow, unresponsive, uninformmed, rude paralegal
