I should have suspected something when I caught my sales rep in a lie. When I asked about the little brown creatures in the apartments she snapped at me with a ""how dare you!"". I was going to go elsewhere but the manager was very nice and even gave me an extra discount on the already marked down monthly rate. Sure the apartment was somewhat roomy and the view was nice but as a single mom I didn't feel safe there till my last 2 months staying there and brown creatures were coming out of every nook and cranny. Throughout my year there I got rid of over a thousand brown creatures yet they were falling on me when I opened a cupboard even after the apartment personnal said they had it sprayed 3 times. What ever they had sprayed actually brought more of them! I had seen a number of arrests, had an update about another beaten and robbed in the laundry room, my neighbors didn't start going until after midnight with loud music and friends banging on their front door, the few times I tryed to go to the gym I got nasty looks from all of the mexicans that were using all of the equipment, I was the only white girl in the whole circle of buildings, a few months in I had to clean up broken beer bottles, wrappers, etc as well as a trail of green plant that I traced all the way to my top floor, I saw a hook worm in the toilet one morning, the drain for the washing machine drain cycle is clogged or something so I had to run as fast as I could before it flooded and turn it on and off to drain slowly, and if you do happen to move in take an extra extra extra good look around during you first inspection because they won't catch little details till it's time for your review then you'll be stuck losing money from you deposit like me. I am so happy to be out of there. I've already began losing wait and my daughter gets to play outside now. I haven't heard one comment about my butt in weeks and haven't seen one brown thing since moving out.
