Unfortunately, following Irene, there was damage to one piece of gutter at my home in Ventnor. Since Gutter Guys put them up originally, I called them. BIG MISTAKE. They required a credit card to schedule the work. Gave it to them. ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE. Asked them to call prior to going there (as the home was unoccupied at the time). No call. Called another company. They did the work. Six days later, my credit card was charged by Gutter Guys for $196.88! They were contacted and given a chance to meet me at the property so they could show me the work they supposedly did. They not only refused but offered no alternative date and time to meet. The workers who actually did the job met with me at the site and proved with property knowledge and physical evidence they had done the work. I went to the Gutter Guys office and asked Mr. Bill Bradley for a refund. He was supposed to call me the next day. Several days passed and several phone calls were made to his office. When I finally got him on the line and explained the details to him he promised to credit the account the next day. A month went by. No credit. A letter was sent to him via certified return receipt mail on November 2, 2011 requesting cash or money order within 48 hours of receipt. The letter was also sent to an attorney. It was signed for on November 3. It is now November 14. NO MONEY OR CREDIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. Their print ads guarantee satisfaction. I feel there is not only false advertising but theft! DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY LIE. THEY STEAL! Rating? If I could post negative number I would!
