So you think you are living in one of Tampa's elite and finest apartment complexes, well think again. The Grand Reserve leasing agents are some of the most unorganized, non helpful leasing agents I have ever come across. To go in and simply ask a question is such a process. Why' Maybe they are understaffed. Maybe because they lack communication skills. To do something as simple and mundane as to handing them my rent check becomes a half an hour wait, because they don't like to acknowledge their tenants, because they are too busy sucking up to potential leasers. When they do finally acknowledge you they are very rude and passive aggressive. And god forbid you go to them for a problem they make you fill out a ""work order"" But if this problem is not deemed an emergency to their standards, that work order can take 2-3 days before they get together. Last time I checked the heat not working in the winter, a toilet that wont stop running, and a broken shower head were emergency problems. Their carpets are old, dusty and musty. Instead of having the carpets replaced (which according to code of conduct should be done every 12 years) or even having them cleaned by professionals, they give you a new air filter. I guess they don't realize that dust, dirt and mold sit in the carpet. Parking is atrocious as is,and what makes it worse is every now and again they have these ridiculous projects where they close off half the parking lot only to spray down the pavement. They have cops surrounding the entire place at all times. For a gated community, you would think there is enough safety that you don't need the police . Oh thats right, half the time the gates don't even work. Awesome considering there was a murder down the street that made national headlines. So if you are thinking about moving into this apartment please rethink, because you do not get what you pay for.
