Terrible experience with the studio, I wish I had read the other reviews at this website before I spent my money. The studio sold me a ""package"" of classes, based on my specific schedule which I discussed with them in advance (I needed morning classes before work), -then proceeded to cancel those classes, but of course it is a no refund policy. In addition as other reviewers here have mentioned, the owner is rude, dishonest, and does not return phone calls. more

worst time of my life! 12/29/2008

i wanted to take some yoga classes so i called the good space but they never answer their phone and when they do answer it they are rude. Anyways i came to the studio and it was gross to say the least there were hairs all over the dance floor . and all the instructors are rude second they don't have a restroom so you have to go out of the studio and the restrooms that they do have are terrilbe they never have toilet paper or paper towels or handsoap you always have to tell them that they are out of toilet paper and things like that then there is no privacy so everybody that passes by is always starring at you which makes you fell very uncontarlbe they never shut the blinds worst studio ever worst customer service ever worst instructors ever your better of buying a yoga video Pros: good looking instructors Cons: rude instructors more

VERY Good Space - Awesome pilates teachers! 8/13/2008

I would recommend The Good Space to any of my friends. I hate gyms and this is a fantastic alternative - plus you NEVER know if your instructor is really qualified with you attend a pilates class at a gym! The Good Space teaches and certifies instructors, so you know you are getting a pro! It is located in an open, yet comfortable studio space, great space, I feel like I am at home. I found the staff to be non-competative and not intimidating, which is good because I just started trying to get back in shape. Positive re-affirmation from the staff, even in the open classes. I have tried a few private sessions and the staff was very attentative. Pros: Qualified instructiors and can book appts online more

The Good Space was not ""Good"" for Me 5/23/2008

I signed up for (and paid for) 4 ABSOLUTE BEGINNER classes and had an absolute horrible time. I went to one class and decided not to attend the others because of the attitude of the instructor. The absolute beginner class had four people in it ... myself who was new to Pilates, a person being CERTIFIED to be a Pilates trainer and two other individuals who were very skilled at Pilates and had taken lots of classes. Pros: Website with Ability to Schedule Online Cons: No Bathroom in the Studio, Changing Room lacks privacy - Just a curtain that gaps, Poor Attitude of Instructor, hated the straps to the Pilates Reformer (Leather type) more

Great place 7/23/2007

I first went to the Good Space for pilates reformer classes because the University Club had closed down. Initially I wasn't keen on the Pilates I/II class but I gave the PIlates II/III class a try (with Melody as the instructor) and I loved it. While waiting for class to start, I would see all these people taking the S&M class so purely out of curiosity, I took a class. It kicked my butt. And I loved it. Pilates is wonderful for stretching and lengthening and toning but I needed a good cardio class without it being excessive or boring and S&M is the perfect class. I get irritable if I miss class because of work - I love it that much. Even if you're new, it's fine because everyone goes at their own level and pace. You don't have to follow along and be in sync like an aerobics class, you can modify it to your comfort level. Sadly, I don't go to the Good Space for pilates any more because I much rather go for S&M. It's helped my energy level and my butt defy gravity. Pros: Melody is awesome, warm and inviting environment, more

Great Instructors, Atmosphere and Equipment 9/28/2006

As a guy, I thought Pilates and Yoga was mainly sitting/ lying around stretching etc. However, one night I was early picking up my wife from her pilates class so I went in to wait for her and was really surprised to see all the equipment and the excersices they were doing...definetly getting a great workout and working up a sweat. I've been going 2x a week now for about 6 weeks and notice a big difference in my abs (I can see them now) and I don't seem to have as many little aches and pains as I used to... more

Highly Recommended...!! 9/28/2006

The Good Space's policies do not reflect anything of the sort of what was stated below. As a client of The Good Space, you will always be treated with respect and priority. That comment is not a reflection of the Good Space. I am the Manager at The Good Space, and I have never heard of any such case occuring here. We have responsible instructors and a great policy as a matter of fact. =) We have a wonderful atmosphere and a great staff. I luv it here! =) Pros: Service, staff, atmosphere more

Bad Policy 8/3/2006

I paid for 5 sessions up front with a personal trainer and when she couldn't make it I couldn't get my money back. I even spoke with the owner and was not able to receive a refund. more
