My husband and I paid over $300 for an elite package as a gift to my elderly mother. We were told that she would be professionally and thoroughly evaluated, and led to believe that there was an individualized, sophisticated method for creating custom supports for her feet that would be part of a ""complete system of therapy"" that would aid in correcting her gait, align her spine, relieve pain, etc. It was made to sound as if her medical history, lifestyle, etc. would be considered during the course of the evaluation. When my mom and I actually went to the store to have her evaluated, we discovered that this ""personalized fitting"" consisted of my mom stepping onto an ink pad and then onto some paper. THAT'S IT. They asked her what her shoe size was (not even bothering to measure her foot, let alone consider her foot flexibility or type of shoe she prefers to wear), and then disappeared into the back room. The sales associate emerged with some plastic, generic looking arch supports and velcro strips. REALLY?? Trying to believe the best, my mom used the supports faithfully for 4 weeks. WORTHLESS. Not at all appropriate for her needs. She is devastated that we spent such a large amount of money for nothing. This experience was a complete waste of time and money. Want my honest advice?
