The Fertility Center of Las Vegas

I was a recent patient of The Fertility Center treating with Dr. D. I was referred to the Fertility Center of LV and of course I read all of the reviews and most of what I heard was good. I was skeptical as having a baby was very important to my husband and I, and wanted to go to the best to get the best results.\r From the moment I contacted their office to make an appointment I really had the best care and service imaginable. Every single person that works in their office was professional, friendly, and caring- from the front desk staff, the nurses, the ultrasound tech, the lab, etc. I was rather concerned and afraid having a baby was not in the cards for me due to my age and previous diagnosis, but after meeting Dr. D, I left with hope. \r Long story short I was able to achieve pregnancy and rather than just referring me back to my regular OB/GYN, they monitored me regularly. They make you feel like a number and not a patient. The staff are so rude and unfriendly. Billing department will not work with your insurance companies and tell you that you don't have coverage when you do. Pros: can't think of any Cons: your a number, not a patient. Unfriendly Staff more

I started going to the Fertility center of Las vegas in 2001 and I was under the care of Dr. Shapiro. When I started going I was unaware of how much testing and work was involved in finding out why I could not conceive, so I stopped going in 2002. In 2005 I went back and almost had to start the testing over again, but Dr. Shapiro was confident that no more testing needed to be done and he knew what procedures would help me. On my first try of IVF I conceived my son. Dr. Shapiro was kind and confident through the entire process. He never gave me false hopes and he was always empathetic to my condition. I would recommend this center over any other in the Las Vegas area. The doctors at the Fertility Center of LV are always kind and courteous even if you aren't thier patient, and they will always greet you with a smile.
