Best

I loved the skinny pasta, stuffed mushrooms, and oreo cheesecake. Eveything was great here

Worst

Service was slow and not very attentive. My salad was coated with a watered down dressing that completely lacked in taste. Entree portions are huge, however appetizers are pricey ...

Cheesecake Factory 4/9/2006

The Cheesecake Factory has an extensive, almost overwhelming menu. Pass on an appetizer because the main course options are all excellent with very large portions and you have to save room for cheesecake! Everything I have tried here has been excellent. The fare ranges from all sorts of cuisine. The cheesecakes are large enough to be shared by at least two people. The prices are reasonable considering every meal will have left overs! Expect a wait on the weekend. I love the Cheesecake Factory! more

Great place to eat 3/27/2006

This is the place I go if I can't figure out what I want to eat. It is a popular place to eat, however, so be prepared to wait unless you get there early or perhaps on a slower weekday night. Their complimentary bread is good (I like the wheat, dark brown one). They have good appetizers as well. The spicy firecracker (I think that is what it is called) and calamari are delicious. As far as entrees go, they give you more than enough for a meal. The dishes are huge. I don't know how people still have room for their delicious (yet pricey) slices of cheesecake. The only complaint I have of this place is that I have ordered an alcoholic drink twice and did not receive it. I suppose it may be because I ask for the drink to come out with the dinner instead of before it, or maybe because I look too young? I'm not sure. But you would think the waiter would remember since it would add like an extra buck to their tip. Oh well, overall love the place. I can always find something I want to eat there. more

Editorial

  • In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.
