Most pawn shops look worse than any thrift stores; Cedar Post is different. In their new building, it is really pretty nice and the prodcuts they offer are generally at reasonable prices. The owner seems like an honest, straightforward guy.
That said, pawn shops seem to always have the same kinds of things: tools, guns and non-name brand electronics. In that respect, Cedar Post is pretty average.
I've found tvs and vcrs there, then went to Kmart and seen similar or better ones for less than the used ones at the pawn shop -- when on a really good sale.
And, Kmart, Walmart and other stores offer money back guarantees in case something doesn't work out...
