Yet another Americanized Thai establishment as we search for something authentic. Of the other Orchid chains, our experience at this location has been one of the better ones. Service is decent and the chef here tends to be better with his spices. The fish and curry dishes are nice and the phad thai has good flavor. Nothing taste buds popping, however. If you're a curry fan, go to an Asian market like Uwajimaya and buy a can of Thai curry for a buck or two, follow the cooking instructions, add other ingredients like eggplant, meat or veggies, and it'll taste pretty close to the restaurant's (you'll save $$ that way too). All in all, Thai Orchid is Thai tame.
Pros: Ample Parking
