I love Thai green curry, and Thai Talay's Emerald Curry really hit the spot. The spring rolls were fresh and bright and full of basil. The satay had a tasty sauce and salad, but the chicken was a bit overdone and dry. Still tasty, but not quite perfect. Wonderful service! more

My favorite Thai place! Pad See You is a can't-fail dish. If you like spicy food, Red Devil Noodles are a must order. more

By far the best Thai food in LA. If you have time, stop at the location on Lincoln and enjoy a meal with them - beautiful food, beautiful hosts, I'm so glad they are on GrubHub. For newbies - try their Tom Yum or Tom Kha soups for starters. Best salad is the Bang Bang, the other curries and dishes are all spectacular. Enjoy! more

Editorial review from eat24hours.com 1/12/2013

Just ordered from here on Eat24 2 main dishes. Received them with no rice. Just meat and sauce. Called to say they must have forgotten the rice. They said rice doesn't come with it. WHAT?! $13.00 entrees require you to order a side of rice. No where does it say that on the menu. Never in the history of Thai restaurants would rice not come with your Spicy Chicken Basil or Shrimp Curry. FAIL! Make sure to order your side of rice or like what we will do; never order from here again. more

Yummy Thai in a nice neighborhood! 3/28/2007

So, I love Thai Food. And as a resident of Westchester, I have my pick. There is another good Thai place called Siam around the corner...but not as good as THAI TALAY. They also deliver in less time than it takes to get a pizza. Their Chicken Pad Thai is amazing. As is their Pineapple Fried Rice. They have a nice Chicken Satay and their coconut soup ROCKS! Give them a try! Pros: Inexpensive. Really good. Quick delivery. Cons: Parking can be tricky...but it is everywhere in LA. more

A great place to go for Thom Ka Gai 8/23/2006

I have to start out by stating that the Thai dish I always get, and always will get, is Thom Ka Gai. A coconut-based milk soup with chicken, it's sweet with a little spice added by chilies and galangal (similar to ginger). It's how I judge any Thai restaurantand the Thom Ka Gai at the Lincoln Thai Talay is amazing.\r \r Although my choice of Thai dishes is not always so diverse, my friends' dishes usually are. It's a great place for take-out or delivery and some nights while looking for something different to fill our bellies, we've pulled the Thai Talay menu off the fridge and gotten delivery. We have yet to have been disappointed.\r \r The restaurant itself, however, is a great place to go in for a meal. Consistently, the staff has been courteous and attentive and in my few times to eat there, I've noticed the same cast of charactersalways a good sign in a local place.\r \r Around the tables, Thai statuary and decor dots the wood interior and a giant aquarium full of tropical fish lit by purple-blue light sits at the center. At night, the subdued atmosphere provides a great place for a relaxing meal or a romantic dinner. Pros: wonderful staff Cons: potential parking problems on Lincoln more

Great Little Delivery Place 3/18/2006

We order delivery from here and its awesome. Theyre usually fast and the food/ price equation really works out in your favor. tis super cheap and super good for what it is. I have never had anything from here I didnt like and their menus have a coupon for ""order three entrees, get one free."" Total for four entrees.... less than thirty bucks. Pros: Fast, Inexpensive Cons: delivery Radius more

Good lunch specials 12/26/2005

My husband and I eat here once a week. Usually we do take out or delivery, but sometimes we dine in. They just went thru a renovation so everything looks much better than before. But with the new decor comes a raise in prices. About $1 extra than before. It's still a great price tho ... :) They also have a great lunch special it's $5.99 and you get soup, salad, rice and your entree. Not bad for under 6 bucks! Pros: Fast Service, Good Lunch Specials Cons: Parking more

Good takeout food 12/8/2003

We only have used Thai Talay as a takeout place. We were initially apprehensive about the quality of food, since they prepare both Chinese and Thai dishes, but everything is usually at least decent. We are particularly fond of their amazing Tom Yum Gai soup, which is the best either of us has ever had (including our own homemade version). It is perfectly complex and balanced. Other dishes tend to be average to very good, although most entrees aren't as spicy as advertised, and even their salads tend to be light on the veggies! In summary, decent food, very friendly delivery staff, and reasonable prices means that we like this place! Pros: delivery, prices Cons: some average dishes more
