I had been customer of the hospital for over ten years. During that time,I received stellar service, and they were willing to work with me to pay some bills over time. This included bills that were well over $400. My account with them was always in good standing. I never had a check come back. I don't know if they have new staff behind the desk, but they seem pretty rude. They weren't willing to let me do this for a twenty dollar amount, and they wouldn't forward my request to have one of the vets contact me. The assistant I spoke with became very aggitated with me, and said that she was putting a notation on my chart to only take cash. She started talking really fast, and wouldn't let me speak. I was calm, and I wasn't using abusive language. She told me to go to PetSmart if I didn't like it,and then she hung up on me!
I think if she had just said that the vet would call me back this could have been resolved,even if arrangements couldn't have been made, but she kept escalating the situation.
I'd advise, good vets, mean desk help!
