As you walk through the door, you see an intimate setting with an eight-person bar and a dozen white-linen tables. If you are not pretentious (referring to another ""reviewer"" of this restaurant), you will enjoy the cozy feeling of this romantic, seemingly hard-to-find gem of Milwaukee. Our server was top-notch, accommodating a couple unique requests and guiding us through the menu. \r
To start, the wine list had many unique and wonderful wines. A couple salads, the Rocket (arugula, Maytag blue cheese, and sweet walntus) and the Caesar, were delicious. For entrees, the pork tenderloin was masterfully created, with interesting sides (including tasty baked pear). Another perfect entree was the seared beef tenderloin. It was cooked exactly to our orders, served with a dark mushroom sauce, a small portion of blue cheese, wasabi-accented mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The lemon-zest ravioli was also delicious.\r
We highly recommend this place for parties of 2 to 6 that have a desire to enjoy delicious food, tasty wine, and wondeful service.
