When you have a couple hundred dollars to blow on the best meal ever, go to Tersiguel’s on Main Street in Ellicott City. This is fine dining at its finest, and worth every penny you spend. The menu is entirely French, with traditional dishes like Chateaubriand and coquilles St. Jacques and more creative ones like roasted chicken breast with Moroccan spices. All of it is perfectly prepared and elegantly presented. The wine list is equally impressive; the wine steward is happy to help you with a selection (without making you feel like an idiot). I’m not kidding about the prices though—save Tersiguel’s for special occasions.
