My dress came in and it was unfinished and had an orange stain. The girls in the store did not even notice anything wrong with the dress before they called me. When I brought it to their attention the 1st thing they said was you can look for a new dress off the rack (fyi my wedding was in 4 weeks and 1 day from that day). I looked at her and said are you kidding? I waited 4 months for this dress and it's awful. Then the GM got involved rushed the dress to the cleaners and the alterations lady to be repaired. All the while everyone was making me feel as if this were my fault. When I called to check on the progress of the dress the GM was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor. The next day I went to pick it up and the alterations person they took it to used the wrong color thread and added beading where there were no beads before. The owner was there this time and said we are unwilling to do anything else you can either take it and not pay for the other half of the dress o more

Don't order a bridal gown from here. They are horrible...bad customer service, horrible in every way that matters. If you want a great wedding dress experience don't shop here....they won't even check your dress when it comes in....they just plain don't care about their customers. more

Terry Costa has it all- amazing dresses, shoes, jewelry, and customer service. They can get busy on the weekends but don't let that scare you from trying on the most fabulous dresses that I've ever seen. The people that work there are always wiling to help. Just wanted to say a big Thank You to the Terry Costa Bridal Consultants for helping me find literally everything I needed to dress myself and my wedding party. Sarah and Kristyn were wonderful and worked with me forEVER to find my gown (and even requested a gown they didn't have for a trunk show AND gave me 20% off during the Trunk Show weekend) and Leticia and Konnie took care of all my bridesmaids and EVERYONE helped me get all the details together, like my cousin's flower girl dress, my mom's MOB gown, my aunt's dress, my veil, tiara, petticoat, alterations, the list goes on and on. Yes, they can be busy on the weekends, but I came prepared and they did everything they could to get me everything I needed. I never saw anyone standing around and I know they did the best they could. Anyway, I loved them and I know you will too! Beautiful dresses, even better prices!!! more

This past week, I went to Terry Costa to find a gown for the Margarita Ball. I had heard they had a great selection of gowns and had visited their website several times. Since I wasn't able to attend Dances in school, even my Prom, I wanted this dress to be the perfect dress. \r \r My Experience Was Terrible.\r \r When I first walked in I was acknowledged by no one. It took twenty minutes for someone to offer assistance, even though I attempted to get someone attention multiple times. The manager was cold and rude, the selection was sparse and the service was even worse. Very few people on staff to help and the ones that were there seem to be biased on who needed more attention. One person does not need three saleswomen helping her find the perfect dress. \r I picked out a few possible dress choices and let myself into my own dressing room, as there was no one to assist me further. Went to this store today. Will not be going back. The sales lady was not helpful. I found her to be loud, rude and abrasive. She catered to two girls looking for prom dresses and ignored me. I waited patiently for her and asked if she had a particular dress in a size 10 she rolled her eyes to the side said I doubt it and went off to check. She walked by me 5 or 6 times without saying a word. Continued to help the two girls with their prom dresses. Seems she had "forgotten" me and her promise to check on a size even though I looked and felt a little odd standing in the middle of the dressing room. I will admit she was the only one working, The other sales people were standing around visiting with each other. After 15 minutes I gave up. I left the store and went to Saks. Now theres a store that gives customer service! I cannot imagine anyone wanting to buy their wedding gown there...who wants to be treated badly when they buy the most important dress of their lives? Every girl dreams of picking out her wedding dress. For me it was an obsession. I had this perfect image in my head of how everything was going to go and my mom would cry and my sister would be giddy and i would feel beautiful. So yeah this actually came true. It was the end of the day and we were all very tired from driving all over Dallas looking for that perfect dress. Then we came to Terry Costa. After the experience we had at other stores, it was really nice to come into an atmosphere that actually made me feel comfortable. Kristyn was so helpful and I was able to find a perfect gown. My mom cried. My sister jumped up and down and everything was perfect. I'm going to recommend them to all of my friends. Oh and they let you take pictures there! Awesome. Great Service. Horrible. I went to Terry Costa to buy a wedding dress and looked around for a while and was never asked if I needed help by a sales assistant. Finally, I asked someone for help and she told me to pull a few dresses and she would start a "room" for me. Little did I know a room was a cheaply hung series of curtains where everyone in the dressing room could peer in. The experience was not personal at all due to the arrangement of the curtained room and the loud teenagers and other people around. I also received little no help by the sales assistant with trying on the dresses, which can be bulky and difficult to put on by ones' self. Needless to say I left, and spent my pretty pennies elsewhere. Tip: try spending a little money and building a series of rooms specifically for brides to have a private and special experience with their family and friends (no annoying teenagers allowed). Ok, I've never been the kinda of girl that dreams about her wedding every second of every day. I got engaged last August and I've been putting off the wedding planning for as long as I can. Well I put it off too long. I had no idea it took so much work and time to plan this stuff (silly me). So I've been walking into bridal salons after bridal salon with little to know help because my wedding is in three months. Terry Costa was so nice to me though. They didn't make me feel like I was pressured for time and the prices were perfect. Konnie was really nice to me and my family. They had an amazing gowns and they were able to answer all of my questions right on the spot. I didn't have to wait for a million annoying calls to get a simple answer. They really knew what they were talking about and I felt like I didnt' have to worry for the first time in this whole crazy mess. Thank you Terry Costa team. You're the best. I recently bought my wedding dress at Terry Costa and had a very good experience. My sister, who looked here for her wedding dress 4 years ago, came on the weekend during prom season, and was basically left to fend for herself. However, I chose to come on a weekday, about an hour after they opened, and the staff could not have been more helpful. I tried on dress after dress, but the staff (Leticia in particular) was patient and ready to help. Also, since I was bigger than all the sample sizes they had available to try on, she was more than willing to help clamp and pin the dresses together, so that I could get an accurate idea of what the dress would look like on me. When I finally decided on a dress, I discovered that a trunk show (with trunk show discounts) for that designer was supposed to start the next day - but Terry Costa went ahead and gave me the discount, so that I didn't have to make a trip back. While its true that if you go David's Bridal or Alfred Angelo you can try more

Thank you Terry Costa for once again taking me away from buying at Whatchamallit's. I have came to truly respect the nice people and kind service of your staff as well as the quality of your dresses. I walked away very pleased and even had the few touch ups that the dress needed completed while we ate lunch. Our dress was packed in a very nice garment bag unlike other places in the past. I have two more daughters and I fully intend to shop Terry Costa!! Thank for a great experience and for being kind to my wallet :-) Pros: Very nice staff who is very helpful. I've been shopping with Terry Costa for about 10 years now. I got my first homecoming dress there and have been going there for all of my formal wear stuff ever since. The people have always been so nice and helpful. So when it came time for me to get married. i knew were to go, obviously. From the second I walked in the door there was someone there to greet me. Per-usual. They walked me through ever step and they didn't make me feel pressured to buy anything. So many other places in town had dirty samples and they were so pushy. Terry Costa made me feel really comfortable. I had brought so many people with me to look at gowns, I felt bad, but they were so nice to everyone. Anyways, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone. (side note: I've been recommending this place for a long time, nobody I've sent there has ever come away unhappy) more

I went to visit Terry Costa recently to search for my wedding dress. I was determined to wear a specific Maggie Sottero dress but was opened to looking at other Maggie Sottero gowns. One of my best friends and bridesmaids was in town so I asked her to come with me. Immediately when I walked into Terry Costa no one paid me any attention. I walked around clueless for 10 minutes and finally someone walked up to me to ask if I have been helped. I told her no and that I was looking for a wedding gown. She said that a wedding consultant would be with me shortly. After being in the store for 15 minutes with still no service I went to the front desk to ask for a wedding consultant. I was told to ask for a specific person in the back so my best friend and I walked to the back (again). I finally found someone and politely asked if she worked there. Terry Costa is located at Preston and 635 in North Dallas. They are a bridal shop/special occasion dress shop. They also have everyday wear. I bought my wedding dress off the rack and on clearance. It was still about $750, which is a deal compared to most bridal shops. It had missing beads and didn't fit well. I was assured it could be re-beaded and altered to fit which was accurate. I was very impressed with the management. They treated me very well even though I bought my dress on clearance. I did end up buying my veil and shoes from them. Good customer service definitely pays. I've shopped Terry Costa for special occasions for 15 years. The store has an excellent bridal selection. While you will not get a fancy dressing room and fawning service, you will get attentive service and great prices on designer merchandise. The store is especially good for bridal or special occasion, teen pageantwear too. In addition, there are "church" type clothes and some casual selections. There are always clearance racks with really phenomenonal deals. I have purchased $300 dresses for as little as $25 before. My sister has used this boutique for her weddings (both of them!) and the entire bridal party was treated very well. As a family member and the largest member of the bridesmaid brigade, I was concerned. My sister wanted me to be comfortable so she and I went to Terry Costa and she let me pick the dress. Faced with such a choice that could potentially alienate all the ex-cheerleaders that are my sister's dearest friends, I froze. Erica helped me. She reminded me to breathe and helped me find dress styles that would compliment my body type (round) and the rest of the bridesmaids (stick). She fetched dress after dress and we picked a style and color. Then the rest of the girls decided to put their two cents in. We were there for hours on three seperate Saturdays.
