I'd noticed this place when driving by, but never checked it out until reading some stellar reviews and they were all right on. This is a family run business that's been around for decades and I can see why. I was so used to the subpar salon experience of making an appointment, sitting around as my appointed time passed, only to be rushed through a cut in 10 minutes and then asked to pay $40. Here at Tel's they'll keep you in the chair 40 minutes or more until your cut is just right. This is no assembly line experience. All the old school touches like a straight razor cream shave of the neck and even a quick massage are included, all for $15! One time my guy Brian even ran outside to feed the parking meter for me. They just don't do it like this, with this much class and dedication for this price anywhere.
Pros: craftsmenship, service, attention, a great tradition living on
Cons: somewhat of a wait on Saturdays
