Dr Teich is the best doctor I have ever used. I brought my teenaged son to him when he was suffering from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, horrible mold allergies and a terrible case of Tourette Syndrome. My son was so ill that he had missed several years of school. I already had taken my son to more than 30 doctors, most of whom told me to give up on my son. Not Dr. Teich. He modestly said, ""I think I can help."" It is now nearly three years after that initial visit. My son's juvenile rheumatoid arthritis is in full remission. He has been tic-free for the past 13 months. My son has resumed a ""normal"" life -- something that all those other doctors said would never happen. Dr. Teich is kind, gentle and intellectually thorough in his search to help his patients get well. He is the finest diagnostician I have ever met. He looks at the whole patient, and is successful at piecing together the underlying causes of illness. I recommend him with the highest accolades. more

I am really surprised that A doctor with this ""experience"" could diagnose my son with ""Autism"" just by looking at him. He never ran a test, never talked to the kid, or even read the report that was written by his associate who saw the kid a week earlier and said:""no signs of autism"". My son is 4 yrs old now and thank god he is ok. He goes to 4K and talks normally, in a good mental and physical condition. The real doctor said of dr. Teich's diagnosis: ""this is not even a theory, it is a bad guess"". more

I am looking at the other review and I can't see anyone giving Dr. Teich 5 stars, but to each their own.Firstly, Dr . Teich does not accept insurance (that by itself should have given me some kind of indication of what this doctor is about. In addition,he will not see you without first getting your credit card number in case you are late or can't show (again,ALL ABOUT THE MONEY).He doesn't trust the people he is supposed to be helping.I went to him for simple allergies and he started injecting me with chemicals under my skin and almost killed me.(cost me a fortune too).I should have done more research before I saw him.AK2000's post on here about Teich really tells you what this doctor is about.There are groups in NYC for the allergic (HEAL and others)where you can get referrals for a good doctor.FIND A DOCTOR THAT CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AND NOT THE MONEY! more

Dr. Teich diagnosed and cured my daughter after other doctors had run tests and claimed her problem was psychological. She had lost weight and was too tired to do any of her normal activities. He made a small change to my thyroid treatment that helped me feel more energetic and lose weight. I was referred to him by someone who described how he had diagnosed a boy labelled as ADD by the school system. The boy actually had allergies to the rug cleaner, when the cleaner was changed he no longer exhibited the ADD symptoms. I met a Park Ave dermatologist who knew him. He praised Dr. Teich and mentioned an autistic patient for whom Dr. Teich had ""worked miracles"". I am writing this to counter the accusations leveled by the former reviewer. I checked with the NYS Health dpt and the Prof. Misconduct website. According to both, there have been no sanctions, malpractice claims or misconduct hearings of any kind concerning Dr. Teich. more

Dr. Teich has a dual practice, conventional allergy treatment and clinical ecology. Controlled double blind studies have proven the later procedures are dangerous and worthless*. Extremly affable in manner he convinced me to undergo treatment consisting of injections and tinctures of formaldehyde and other chemicals. Teich claimed formaldehyde is "" a non toxic substance"" and ""its absolutely save to inject toxic chemicals"" (into the skin). The result for me a permanent sensitivity to air born formaldehyde. I reported him to the Office of Professional Medical Conduct of the N.Y.S. Dept. of Health. I was told by there investigator the head physician had told him he knew Teich and ""he is a phony"" the investigator continued ""we are going to get him"". Teich and his lawyers altered my records (including changing written statements by me (creative Xeroxing) in the process of ofiscating the investigation.*Double blind tests by a prominent Denver CO.
