Though this business has been around at least 20 years, that may not mean as much as you think! First of all, when I called to make an order for a cake recently, I was required to give my credit card number . I've made phone orders before from better bakeries, but chose this one because it's what the birthday boy likes and it's close to my house. Reluctantly, I made the order, only to have the conversation ended too abruptly for me to find our their hours of operation. I called the next day to find out what time they were closing and was hung up on again before I could verify that my cake was ready! Then, when I went to go pick up the cake, I intended to just have them charge my card. After all, they had all of the required information, right? WRONG! I had to give them the card to ""swipe,"" yet was told, by the manager, in the event that I did not show up to get the cake, my card would've been charged. Huh? I'm double-parked, hugely pregnant and clearly in a hurry, but could only receive a convenient check-out if I had neglected to pick up the cake in the first place? This place is not at all worth the trouble they put their customers through, and the employees (including the manager) are not nice at all.
