Ted & Debbie's Flower & Garden

The other day I went into Debbie's and Ted's and I m must say that that young man named Darren gave me superb service, he was extremely polite and helpful, and I sure loved his great smile. It is nice to know that classy young people are being hired like this again.He was so fast and knowledgeable I gave him a $15 dollar tip. more

My husband sent me flowers for Valentines Day through Telaflora. What we got from Ted and Debbies was a disaster. The flowers were broken and losing petals the first day. It looked like a grade school kid just slapped some flowers in a vase. The totally forgot the box of candy that was suppose to go with them. When I called after 15 minutes of busy signal, she told me "well we were going to answer the phone today anyway" really that is their customer service. The flowers look nothing like the picture, for $70 we expected a whole lot more the crappy old flowers we got. No more ordering thru Telaflora or Ted and Debbies for that matter. My husband was embarrassed at the mess that was sent to me. more

They need better space, and to be further off from Harvard Ave, with more parking. That said, I like the place, and they always have a selection of plants for the season. \r I would never expect them to take a return that was not identified with a receipt. Honestly, some people would rather complain than to enjoy the fact someone thought of them with a plant or flowers! Wish someone would give me flowers! (Now, where did they get those flowers, and how can I exchange them for something they thoughtlessly did NOT give me? LOL!) more

I received a plant arrangement on my birthday. The day after receiving the plant arrangement i called Ted & Debbie's and talked with Debbie. I asked her if i could exchange my plant arrangement for a plant that would be able to thrive in my home environment. Debbie would not let me exchange for any other plant because i had no receipt. On a final note, the plants had no directions on how to care for them or even what the name of the plants were. For the prices they charge they should at very least have care directions along with the plants you purchase. Because of this experience with Debbie i will not shop there and will recommend to anyone not to take their business to Ted & Debbie's. There are too many other places that care about the customer satisfaction. Cons: Poor customer service more

While Ted & Debbie's may not have the best selection, they know what they're selling. If you need some advice as to what to plant for next season, it's worth a trip to see them. Their plants are higher quality than your big box stores, and the prices are fair (though not cheap). But the knowledge you get is invaluable! more
