This is a great meeting place in this area of Brooklyn. They've got both a great bar and a great restaurant area. When the restaurant area is crowded, it sometimes gets a bit loud. However, this seems true for almost every restaurant in New York. I've had good conversations with other people while sitting at the bar, where I didn't feel like the discussion of the basketball game implied an attempt at picking someone up.
As a vegetarian, I haven't had all of their dishes. However, a friend of mine strongly recommends the fried chicken.
Their macaroni and cheese is amazing! They actually bake it, so it's got that wonderful crust to it, while still being a bit gooey on the inside. Makes me hungry just thinking about it!
Pros: the sides, the vegetarian selections, brunch
