I have a reply to the two reviews for the Tattoo Gallery in Fort Lauderdale. I live in the Fort Lauderdale area, and have over 27 tattoos. I have been a regular customer of the Tattoo Gallery for years and have never got a screwed up tattoo or ever been overcharged!!! I will say that it's a bit pricer than a few other shops, but it's on Fort Lauderdale Beach so it's going to be a bit more. I don't mind paying for excellent quality artwork that will be on my body for life though!! Miami Ink's minium charge for any tattoo is around $200, and on any given day that you go there...you won't get a tattoo by anybody on the show. It'll be by some joe schmo!! The Tattoo Gallery's minium is $60, and there are some pricer spots on the body, and the foot and ribs are two of em!! Now I would hardly call a two inch butterfly or a small flower exactly artwork....but maybe the next time someone wants to get a small tattoo that they think was ""over priced"" then I guess they should'nt be getting any tattoos on the Beach anywhere!!! I can say that i've had only good experiences at this shop, and willl continue to get tattoos from the great artists that do great work there!!!! Pros: Excellent Artistic Talent!!! Great Quality Work!!! Cons: Maybe a bit of a wait, they are always busy!! more

I got a small tattoo of a flower about 2 inches in size when i asked what it would cost the guy kept changing the subject , I imagened it would be about 75.00 to 100.00 max. ,but when i went to check out I was charged 181.00 and that's with a 10% OFF COUPON THAT THEY GAVE ME THE NIGHT BEFORE,WHEN I ASKED WHY IT WAS SO MUCH HE SAID IT WAS BECAUSE IT WAS ON MY FOOT which is rediculous...it was a very simple tattoo and took only about 15 min. to do. I would not recommend this place to anyone! more

The guy did a horrendous job. I got a small butterfly on my ankle and about the only thing he did right was put it in the spot i wanted. Not a single line was straight and the wings were both completely uneven. Once it healed half the color was gone, and it wasn't because of lack of aftercare..this was my 3rd tattoo. To top everything off, it cost me $139 and before i got it was told it would cost $90. They failed to tell me about the multitude of hidden costs. Keep in mind this butterfly was no more than 2 inches. Once it healed i had to go back to a local place (I don't live in FL) and they guy was disgusted with the job that was originally done and it cost me another $60 to get it fixed. I would seriously recommend avoiding this place. They are absolutely horrible!!! Pros: Absolutely none Cons: the tattoo turned out horrible and was extremely over priced more
