The only thing higher than the room rates, are the people that run this place.
When I asked how much the room was, I was told $75 and $80. -curiously, I asked, ""What's the difference in rooms""? ""Well one room has ""Upgrades"", I was told. I think she meant, one room isn't quite as filthy. lol.
Uhm, let's see now, the place looked empty, yet there wasn't a room ready at 4 in the afternoon, so I had to wait while 3, -yes 3! people scrambled to get one ready. The bed looked like it was made by a chimpanzee, the towels were ragged, faded, and one had a huge hole in it, I kid you not!. The shower was so dirty and moldy, and the ashtray had ashes in it.
Then I discovered the best part. The television doesn't get ANY regular channels at all! The only thing on T.V. was the worst porn ever made. 3 channels of it!
OK, so they have 3 porn channels, but one channel was frozen on the start menu. When I pointed that out to the chick that worked there, she said she would take care of it, (which she never did), and commented to the guy she was talking to, ""How many porn channels do you really need anyway""? as she wandered away as though she was overwhelmed.
I had planned on 3 nights, but I reluctantly stayed the night and left early the following morning.
I went right across the street to the **ST. GEORGE INN**,
where for $10 LESS, I got a beautiful room (that was actually clean), pool, jacuzzi, laundry room, CABLE TELEVISION, friendly staff, and continental breakfast.
Pros: It's right across the street from a motel worth staying at.
